Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

PortugalThe breakfast has less offer than we are used to with continental breakfast (for example, only red orange juice or orage with lemon - both machine made - and no other juices) but it has enough offer of the rest. Bathroom can be a bit small and clumsy, specially the toilet usage.
The staff is very kind and helpful. It's placed in the city center and just 5 min away from the airport tram. Do not spend a huge amount of money on Uber or taxi, it's not worth it. It's in walking distance of every attraction. Bathroom towels frequently changed even without asking. Room AC works great (and you'll need it). Anti bug device and recharges available (you'll need it too).

PortugalThere was no elevator, so we had to climb a lot of stairs when returning to the room. We were in the 3rd floor, with my mom who is 62. So it was a bit tiring after a long day of walking. I understand that it's an older building, so there's not to do about it, but I wouldn't recommend it for people with low mobility.
The staff was super nice. When we arrived, we received a map explanation of the city worth of a 5* hotel. They also gave us a great room, which had 2 separate rooms with a bathroom in between. It was perfect for us, since I was travelling with my mom and my brother. The ladies at breakfast were very friendly and always repositioning food at our request.

GermanyThe position of the hotel is fantastic. The hotel staff at the reception is very nice and friendly, but the lady in the breakfast room is not. The room was ok, even though the bathroom is extremely small. The soap and shampoo were only avaible the first day. Breakfast was not special, mostly sweet stuff, one sort of cheese and one sort of ham. But the coffee was super! :)

RomaniaHigh stairs, difficult to climb. Staff helped us with the luggage but we had to climb to reach the room at 4th floor. Bathroom very very small, you had to wash yourself across the width of the bathroom which was about 70 cm. If you think you can deal with this 2 issues then you'll find this hotel a good choice.
Nice and helpful staff. Excellent location. Breakfast with cheese and salami besides the usual sweets typical Italian. Good wi-fi signal.

ItalyThe hotel could benefit from better overall maintenance and modernization without losing its antique style. Additionally, there is no elevator and no safe-deposit box in the room. The TV is very small and was broken, and the bed could be more comfortable. The towels are not changed daily. These are areas where improvement could be made.
The room was a bit small but comfortable, and the bathroom was quite small but clean and with hot water. There was also good internet service, and the breakfast included in the room we took was very good and quite complete, buffet-style. The location was excellent, just a few steps from the center where the Duomo and many other tourist places are located, and also very close to Ponte Vecchio. The staff's attention was very good. Thank you.
