The location is a bit far from the center but free parking was provided.

We loved staying at this oasis in Matera. The property was simply magnificent with large rooms, the greatest pool in an enchanting decor and the breakfast was also great!

The ambience and location of Masseria Santa Lucia was very pleasant, relaxing and the staff friendly. Our apartment was clean, quiet and had a secluded patio for relaxing with ample car parking provided.

The area around the property is sort of industrial, but the property does a great job of blocking it all out and you would never know.

Really beautiful property, well kept and clean. Short drive to the historical area of Matera - not walking distance.

Beautiful old farm transformed into a hotel. You can feel there like at home. Friendly staff, especially Enzo who can arrange anything for you. Nice pool (around 16 m) where you can really swim. Everything is almost perfect, architecture, even Masseria logo. Really appreciated our stay and rested. Thank you :-)

The location. Large industrial area away from commodities like restaurants, shops, supermarkets. They served decent cold breakfast, but their restaurant was permanently closed and there was no place nearby to purchase anything.

Beautiful hotel. The grounds and the rooms were well kept and very clean. The staff was very courteous and accommodating when possible.

Restaurant offer, not in line with the splendid location for the value for money offer. Food excellent to be said though

extremely nice location and very good welcoming staff. a real "sassi" experience. also the position is incredible and can be only suggested. The facility for electric car recharge on site is of course a good plus. in spring, summer and early autumn for sure also the outside can be an extra attraction. They plan to open a Spa which can make also the unforgettable experience throughout the year

Location is surrounded by industrial warehouses and auto dealerships and is not ideal as you cannot walk to any restaurants, stores, etc. But you do get a pool and big rooms as the tradeoff. Breakfast was basically the same everyday...could have had more variety, or maybe offered something hot. The outdoor "atmospheric" music playing every morning at 08:00am woke us up.

Definitely recommend this hotel! The conversion of this 275 year old agricultural property was done with great care and taste. Our room was the largest and it was huge, well furnished, very clean, with a big tub, bug TVs, and all around excellent. Staff, particularly Enzo, were very helpful and kind. Plenty of secured parking. Breakfast was free and simple but good quality. There is a pool for use in summer and a football pitch was being prepared for next summer. Restaurant on sight looks good, but we didn't eat there. Winter prices were very favorable. If you want excellent accommodation outside of town center and don't mind driving 10-15 minutes to go into town, this is the place for you.

Our only issue was the coffee in the mornings. We love a latte in the UK to start the day but could not get anything close here. Every morning we would get a different type of coffee. I would suggest that they invest in a decent coffee machine in the breakfast room. It would be well worth the investment.

The residence is stunning and enabled us to have a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The staff were great, very friendly and we would highly recommend to friends. Thank you to all the staff.

The property was small and there was no where to walk in the local vicinity of the hotel. It was a car or taxi ride into Matera.

The cave like appearance of the property was very appealing. The room was large and well furnished. The pool although quite small was a delight. The food at breakfast and dinner were excellent.

It’s located quite a way outside of Matera so be ready to drive and it’s in an industrial like area with mechanics and car repair shops; quite unexpected.

Our room backed on to the road - was not a big issue except for the garbage truck collecting 1 morning.

Located in a commercial area far from services (4 km drive) but once on the property, you don't notice.

Beautiful property and very comfortable rooms, with a nice buffet breakfast. No problem parking onsite either. Basquiat Restaurant is OUTSTANDING. We had dinner there in the evening and can honesty say it was best food we ate in Italy. Highly recommend eating there. The staff were amazing too.
