It was slightly awkward to get to without a car with the buses often being late.

We very much enjoyed the proximity to the lake, with a pier to swim from. The swimming pool area was lovely and the view was fantastic! There were a lot of steps up to the apartment, but the setting amongst olive trees secluded on the hill was wonderful.

It is indeed a retro place ( the pictures are realistic) , so if you expect luxury or modernity- this may not be for you. Indeed, it would be great to have a bed without and end piece where people above 1.8m bump their feet at night, but it really did not bother us that much. If we can make a suggestion for the future: please improve the mattresses (too soft) and change the very-very small showercube. Since there is enough place in the bathroom, we can hope that in the future this upgrade may happen. Then the place would be fabulous - but we liked our stay anyways.

Perfect location for uncomplicated, relaxing holiday in a retro location, away from the crowds. The appartment 406 on top floor of a building is nestled into the hillside ( you need to walk a steep little road or take the stairs, you can take the car uphill to unload or load your stuff, parking is then on the street level) and it offered fantastic views of the lake from a generous terrace. We enjoyed the small pebbled beach right across the street- we were almost the only ones there in August. The appartment had everything we needed ( simple kitchen equipment, not for big cooking sessions though) incl. good airconditioning. Both the appartment and the terrace were very clean. We had 4 chairs, a table, umbrella and two loungers on the terrace- more than enough. Good parking space is provided, the venue has a pretty , well- maintained garden and a swimming pool as well. Nice and helpful staff. Restaurants are ca 2 -2.5 km away, supermarkets as well. There is a promenade along the shore for walking to Castello or towards the south - end of the lake . This is a no-fuss place for an enjoyable vacation and good value for money.

It‘s outdated - but that is something you can see already in the Photos that are shown here. But the room was very clean. Small kitchenette (as also shown in the photos), so bring your own spices, towles etc. from home if you plan on using it.

Amazing views, the balcony of our apparment was the best! Super friendly stuff, that helps you find your room when you arrive. The whole facility around the Hotel/apparments was very neat and taken good care of. Swimming pool also had a beautiful view, was very clean and just refreshing!

In the room we had a few, small ants on the floor of both the bathroom and the tiles in the “Living area”. We discovered them the night of our arrival and went to the reception the morning after. They had some really affective spray, which we got, but it smelled really chemically. (We tested it on the balcony). When asking if they had anything else, because we weren't comfortable using it in the room we were sleeping (studio apartment), they said no and said we just had to kill them with water and soap. It just made the room feel a bit “not clean”.

The pool area was really nice, clean and with a lot of space for relaxing. The pictures of the room is what you are getting, so no surprise in it being a bit old. The balcony and the view from it was just perfect.

The shower was very small. The shops were away. Poor bus service for accessibility to the hotel.

Exceptional, breath-taking view. Good swimming pool with a magnificent view. Few marks down for the location as the nearest shops & restaurants are 2 KM away. However, the hotel offered us free bikes.

In our room, the bed was not particularly comfortable, but we also had a couch so we moved there. This one was comfortable for us. Another thing that wasn't a problem for us, but can be for others: there are pretty steep stairs to climb to get to the rooms. There was no elevator to get up to the room, but it was possible to drive the car uphill to our room to load/unload.

One of the most amazing views we had from a hotel terrace. Beautiful exterior with lots of plants. Location right in front of the lake. Visiting either Sirmione or Limone is about 1 hour drive, Riva slightly less. There are several small towns in 5-10 minutes drive range, with plenty of restaurants. There's also a beach bar / restaurant in 5 minutes walking distance. There's a shared washing machine for €5 (coin operated). Sound proofing was good / no road noise heard at night. All equipment in the room worked.

Apartments on the 2nd floor have no Terrasse privacy/separation, the neighbors can look directly into your Terrasse. Could be improved. Otherwise not a bad place to stay.
