This hotel in the Tuscan countryside was absolutely beautiful and so charming—a perfect escape. It’s just a short walk from the stunning town of San Gimignano, which made it an ideal location for us. We were lucky to be given a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the breathtaking Tuscan landscape—such a magical view. It was my wife’s 30th birthday during our stay, and this experience made it even more special. The breakfast was amazing, with a fantastic selection of delicious options to start the day. The staff were wonderful—so warm, friendly, and full of charm. On one warm day, we enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool, which was a lovely way to relax. The only slight downside was that the room was a bit small, but it was manageable for the two of us, and we adored its rustic charm. The on-site parking was a big bonus, making it super convenient for our travels. Overall, a delightful stay that we would highly recommend and would return!

We were less than happy with our first room as it was so so small, literally for one person! It did not state at the time of booking that it was only just bigger than the bed which itself was only just a double!! Also they had unfortunately for us switched off the AC and as the room was south facing and therefore privy to solar gain it was very, very hot. They did move us to a different room after we asked on the second night, this was without a view, but which was infinitely better. They offered us a fan which we used for the first night but in the end we had to switch rooms which they did do swiftly and gracefully. I had specifically booked this hotel because of the pool and I read on the website it closed at the end of October, we were there from 28/30 Oct. The pool was closed despite it being 23/24 degrees and bright blue skies. That was really VERY disappointing.

Our first room had a good size terrace with spectacular views. The staff were fantastic. The breakfast was varied and good. The lounge area was very comfortable and very well dressed with aptmosphere. The pool 'looked' delicious. `our second room was spacious, equipped, had a kingsized bed. No view but it was cooler as was at the back of the building. Staff, all staff from reception to house maintenance team were really lovely and friendly. Location was great, close enough but far enough away to be quiet. The hotel had parking if you booked ahead and for a fee but it was available.

The room was OK for a short stay but very compact. The bathroom was more of a closet and really not big enough even for a short stay.

We booked this quite last minute and we felt it suited us very well for our 4 nights stay. We arrived in the evening and we were warmly welcomed by the receptions. We were also still welcomed to their restaurant for dinner even though it was about 8pm which we appreciate. We met the lovely Francesca there who is a waitress working with the bar and restaurant and she was so lovely throughout the entire stay. The food was homey and nice and we had a great bottle of red morinello! We were then served inclusive breakfast daily with a vast selection of anything you could want. I think the coffee could be a bit better but overall cannot complain. Our rooms were a little old fashioned but super clean and everything worked. The views from the restaurant is stunning and it’s just 10mins walking to centre of SG! Overall great stay and we really enjoyed it ! Thank to the whole team who was so easy and welcoming .

The second room we booked was dark, had no view, was hot and noisy due to the adjacent property and/or staff getting breakfast ready and smelt of food cooking.

Lady on reception was friendly and helpful. We booked two rooms, one with the rockstar view of the pool and the valley and a second opposite it and at located at the back of the hotel with no view. The one with the view was lovely - obviously the view was spectacular but it was also light, sunny, quiet and with a good breeze.

The rooms have old furniture and definitely need remodeling: the fridge isn’t working properly, the windows don’t close properly. Also, one of the ladies from the front desk asked me to pay twice for my stay because she couldn’t find the payment I made using Booking and had to call the manager.

Our room was tucked away at the side of the hotel and was a little gloomy. However we paid for a basic room. Probably worth paying more for a room with a garden view.

Away from the craziness of San Gimignano but only a short walk to get there to see the sites. Amazing breakfast. Comfortable room and excellent staff. The garden and terrace were also delightful.

The rooms are extremely tiny (maybe 8.5 x 8.5 feet). Maybe only meant for a single person. Only a double bed. Could not walk around the bed with the door to the room open. We travel with small carry on luggage and there was no room to put it away. The shower was also tiny. I’m not a big person and I couldn’t turn around without knocking the temperature dial. Couldn’t control the a/c temperature and we found it too warm at night.

It was a beautiful property, a 5 minute walk from the walls of San G. Nice patio off the room, grounds and pool are outstanding. Breakfast was great. For the price it was decent.

The only negative thing is our room was sooo small and bathroom it felt like a hostel, the pictures are very deceiving with sizing

This property is beautiful breakfast is wonderful and the staff was even better. Really enjoyed the downstairs space with pool table and fire out for relaxation. The pool area outside looked gorgeous but unfortunately it was too cold for us to go for a swim
