We were abit disappointed in the reception lady when we checked in. We hoped she would have shown us where to go to find our room rather than sit at the desk and tell us where to go. Our room had a terrible sewerage smell which we couldn’t understand how the cleaning staff didn’t smell when they went into that room daily.

The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were spacious!

The room was big and everything was in what you need. In general the staff was very polite. The breakfast was good with a good variation. The building is very beautiful.

Breakfast was a disappointment and we had to wait for breakfast for 20 mins - although we came at 9 am. Bread old, no descriptions on food, all meat is just displayed (no tags) and we dont eat pork, so couldn’t eat anything with meat. Breakfast ruins the experience

Limited gluten free options for breakfast. Everything was pre-packaged and it was a bit disappointing looking at a table full of pastries and cakes and only being able to eat a packet of biscuits and wafers. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor and we had to use our towels to mop it up.

Really lovely staff and definitely kept busy. The building itself is lovely and modern, well maintained. Very close to the city approx 20 mins by bus to the main sites. Very safe area surrounded by embassies. Quiet and peaceful. Excellent coffee.

Some technical problems in the bathroom/ room, which couldn’t be solved on the spot, but didn’t really spoil our stay.

Charming building and lovely people, beautiful trees and mamy parrots :-) Very nice choice for breakfast. All tasty! Comfortable bed. Good district, well connected to the center by public means of transportation.

The room itself was a bit of a disappointment. The air con didn’t work and we had to sleep with the window wide open which let in airplane sounds and police sirens early in the AM. One of the lamps on the nightstands was completely broken and crooked. Even the cleaning was a bit poorly- the mirror extremely dirty and under the bed was incredibly dusty.

The staff in the hotel were wonderful! Every time we had a problem they helped right away and went out of their way to help, especially the staff from the bar! The breakfast was brilliant - the woman remembered our coffee orders every morning and brought them to us the second we sat down. Incredible staff!

Breakfast was below expectations. Poor selection of food, and when we came at 9 (one hour before the end of the breakfast time) they were already out of scrambled eggs, and when I asked if there was any more of those, the waitress answered "no" rather rudely. The next day it was even worse: the eggs were there (not tasty) but the personnel was even more rude: the male waiter didn't let people sit down at the table because he was still cleaning it and did it in a disgusting manner, just yelling "wait 5 minutes" and pointing his finger at the door. This sort of service seems inappropriate in a hotel. The shower was terrible - shabby, old and with mold, the water pressure was poor and the shower handle dirty and rusty.

Very pleasant setting in a villa with a garden and old tall pine trees. We had a small room with a large balcony overlooking the garden - it was very nice.

You had to use the keycard to keep the lights on, which was fine except it meant that you couldn’t charge things unless you were in the room - so couldn’t leave phones charging while at breakfast etc. Not the end of the world but a tad annoying! The staff recommended the same restaurant a few times (which was a nice one) but may need a few more suggestions (!) Bar is nice but quite small - to have a drink in the winter you really have to sit where you have breakfast which is ok but a bit cold and unatmospheric. Didn’t want to make too much noise as there were bedrooms oppositethe bar

Great location (5 min walk from Bologna metro, 1 min walk for bus) very quiet area, but felt safe with lots of clean streets etc. Local restaurants and bars only a short walk by the metro Comfortable beds and spacious rooms Very modern looking, not too old or shabby Lots of amenities (eg kettle and tea bags, mini fridge, tv, safe, slippers, little kits in bathroom etc) Breakfast was really lovely (huge selection of sweet stuff eg croissants and tarts, lots of meat cheese and bread, and cereal, fruit and yogurt) Lovely patio Staff lovely and all spoke amazing English which was definitely helpful as I know 0 Italian !

There wasn't great soundproofing between the rooms, (windows yes, walls no) so if you're a light sleeper like me just bring your earplugs. Otherwise everything was wonderful!

There was one staff member who was extremely rude at breakfast every morning - telling us off and talking about us to his colleagues in Italian in front of us.

It is a little far out of the city center. The metro is about a 10 min walk. We drove in and out, but it took 20-30 min due to traffic.

It was beautiful. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was wonderful and the price was reasonable.

Breakfast was nice but hot food was not very hot and in self-serve containers for a long time. The gentleman in charge of Breakfast was not the most friendly person and we felt we were in his way. A smile goes a long way, the girls however were wonderful and so kind.

Reception Staff were wonderful and very helpful. Room was very comfortable and clean.

The room was a garden room with a connecting door to the room next door, there was no sound proofing on our first night we were subjected to the shrieks and giggles of the girls next door which sounded as though they were in the same room as us. One morning we were woken by our new neighbours getting up and showering, chattering and generally making normal sounds at 6am but they could have been in the same room as us which made sleeping until a bit later impossible. The hot water took up to 5 minutes to reach our shower from the hotel, which meant a long wait for a hot shower and an awful lot of wasted water.
