Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyVery beautiful location which cute and clean rooms. Staff was really friendly, supportive and just lovely. Breakfast was very authentic, with local food and a lot of home made cakes. We were delighted by it. The hotel offers dinner (more course menu, with Tuscany antipasti, pasta, main course and desert) for a really fair price. It was just delicious and the wine was really good. Pool, the surroundings and all was perfect, we enjoyed it and will definitely come again.

AustriaAbsolutely beautiful agriturismo overlooking the stunning Maremma vineyards, fields, hills and even the sea. The entire staff has been wonderful as well, proactive, helpful and friendly. The peace and quiet you can get here is peiceless, we had such a good rest that we’ve been in this zen state for days after we were back home and at work.

if it would be possible, I would give 20 out of 10. We were the only guests at that time and the owners took care of us like some some of royalty. Food was excellent and we have also bought some olive oil which is being produced by the owners. We will definitely come back next year!

Beautiful and quiet location. Very nice apartment. Big garden with a nice pool, all very well maintained. The breakfast was amazing and the dinner all freshly cooked and very tasty. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

A marvellous agriturismo in the middle of the Olive Trees with a wonderful view on the Tuscan countryside and the sea. A place where you feel at home.The owners are really devoted to their hosts and make you feel at home. The dinner is always generous and tasty. The appartments are comfortable and clean with direct access to the garden, a playground and an amazing swimming pool. They have also an electric car charging station which was very handy! We will definitely come back!

GermanyYou can't communicate well in English. In autumn in the accommodation is also quite fresh. Up on the mountain it is often windy. Since the local restaurant was already closed, you definitely need a kitchen in the room and some equipment (like kettle etc.) to make tea or prepare dinner in the evening. We missed that a bit.
The hosts make a lot of effort and are very helpful. The location on the mountain is excellent. The accommodations are large enough and modernly equipped. On request we got a Nespresso coffee machine, which was great.
