3 elevators from your room to the street level so a little messy. Shame the slide and diving platform weren’t open and the pool hours are a bit short. Don’t open till 10, when it’s already sticky hot and closes at 7 before the best of the sunset.

After weeks of living on a boat, staying here was like an oasis. Our room had 2 bathrooms and a huge walk in robe. Such a pleasure to stay. The pool are is huge with views of the church tower.

The hotel is clearly in need of some refurbishment and upgrades and for this reason the following negatives we share: 1. Housekeeping: Before the regional operations director appeared, we had problems with room housekeeping. The housekeeping staff before we spoke with Paolo Pagnotta were rude and looking for any excuse not to clean the room daily and they also did not clean but merely changed the towels. As soon as they knocked and you were inside they would say "aaa ok" and we would not see them that day. When we hung up the tag with "Please make up the room", they would say that the tag was turned with the side "Please do not Disturb". As we had 3 rooms and also small, we wanted the rooms cleaned daily. My wife eventually had an altercation with the staff and was rudely told that "we are not the only ones here" and that we were in the wrong hanging out tags with "please do not disturb" on. Once, Paolo Pagnotta arrived and we spoke to him it was a dramatic change to the positive - the room was cleaned daily at 09:00 without question. 2. Breakfast start time: We were told breakfast started at 07:30. As we had small children we would come early and on few occasion coming at 08:00 the breakfast area was not ready yet. BUT after the arrival of Paolo Pagnotta, all was resolved. 3. Parking: The parking is cramped and small, yet we got the impression no one in the hotel management controls the parking. People parked their cars taking more space than they should, with some car taking two spots. The recommendation is that the car parking situation is improved by managing how the cars are parked and actually knowing who (which guest) is parking so that if there is some problem you can contact the person to move the car etc. 4. Security in the parking area: We were shocked to find our front car windscreen cracked one morning after the night.

As we were a large family group, we took 3 rooms at relatively late stage of the booking. The hotel was able to find rooms for us. Absolute hero and "THE MAN" that made all the difference despite some serious issue was the operations director from Milan Mr Paolo Pagnotta (who addressed all our issues regarding room housekeeping). It is only thanks to Paolo that I am rating this hotel so positively. Other positives are: The Junior suite was big enough for us and our baby. The patio/balcony was great with direct access to the swimming pool. The swimming pool on the property. The great breakfast area with fantastic croissants and jam and nutella filling stations. Parking on the property, although not always available. Absolute fantastic views of the sea and city from the terrace during the day and night! Location of the hotel with proximity to Santa Magheritta's great spots.

No concierge so we couldn’t get dinner reservations or taxi to go to the station. The last night other guests was making a mess outside their room and screaming at the room next to mine. It was really annoying. I could hear everything from the rooms next door. One more thing: my bathroom had a smell that I couldn’t figure it out what it was (room 610)

The staff was really nice and the pool was cool, love that it was salty.

We were allocated a different room than we booked on Booking.com. Unfortunately the rooms were very tired and in desperate need of an update. Our bathroom had mould all around the bath. Car parking was also very stressful at this property- shouldn’t advertise it as free car parking as it’s very limited.

Nothing particularly bad about it.

Excellent location at just 5 minutes walking distance from the beach, restaurants, shopping,.... A big terrace with a fantastic view as well as a nice swimming pool. The Personnel (whom we interacted with, Francesca and Valentina) was extremely helpful and polite.

The entry and exit procedures are fast, and the reception staff are wonderful and kind, especially Mr. Luca and his wife. They provide assistance and are wonderful. The breakfast is normal. The hotel is comfortable and clean.

In the bedroom noise was a problem. Unfortunately I had very noisy people next door, it felt like they were in my room. The breakfast could be better everything was self service, the tables were not laid and you were expected to clear the table when finished ( this was not the case in the other hotels I stayed in of a similar standard during this holiday.

The food was amazing meat and cheese boards complimentary in a lot of bars when sitting down for a wine in the arvo and generous size , it’s also the home of anchovies theyy were amazing and the view from our room was spectacular and very central location staff very helpful everything was perfecto !

The sound insulation between our room and others above and to the side was non existent. You could hear every footstep and word in the rooms around us. The shower in the bathroom was really tiny, and the TV did not connect to Netflix despite having a Netflix option on remote. The pool was really not useable. We booked the hotel, because it had a pool, and looked lovely in pictures. It looked really dirty when we arrived, and we did not see one person using it. So disappointing, as it was a reason to chose Park Hotel Suisse. We were waived a couple of drinks in our final bill, but I do feel it is a significant facility to be looking so bad,

The room was very spacious, with a fabulous view -the bed was large and with good bed linen.

It’s a four star hotel but surprisingly they are missing some basic services that you find in any hotel. There was no one to help us with our luggage when we arrived and the receptionist was not welcoming or helpful at all.
