Towels, works but can be improved just make them a bit more comfortable.

Staff, we asked for later checkout and it was ok. Could store our bags when venturing for the last day. Lots of options for breakfast and easy with bus just outside the hotel. Clean hotel room and smelled fresh!

For the value charged we expected a higher quality. We stayed in the annex. Finishes appear dated and there was no wifi. Even the pool appears to require maintenance.

- car / taxi is needed to get comfortable to the hotel or restaurants in the evening - the beach chairs and the umbrella for two persons costs 30 to 40€ a day - the towels are changed daily without a need (rules for new towels are not followed) - the furniture in the bathroom is not probably fixed - the WiFi only works in the common areas not in the room that we had - the breakfast ist okay, but boring after one week - the dinner is only possible as menu and not a l a card (menu ~ 35€ p.p)

- the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful - the location is good for daily trips by car around the island - the hotel is localised next to the Napoleone villa - free parking for cars

Perfect location among hills and bushes, near Napoleon villa in beautiful area. Great friendly staff Cristiano with team from restaurant and Teresa from reception, they are professional and it was always nice to chat with them as with while team over there cleaners and waitress). The food was great. Very big and clean swimming pool and overall so oryginal style in this hotel, who has a soul.

it’s a bit far away but if you have your own vehicle then it’s no problem. the wifi unfortunately didn’t reach to where we were staying. the breakfast buffet was good but don’t have a lot to offer for vegetarian/vegan

4 star hotel is a joke. So old and tired, no Investments for decades.

The facility needs a complete renovation (inside and outside). The price for dinner based on what we ordered was unacceptable! The smell from the drains in the bathroom, especially after it rained was unbearable. The carpeting in the rooms and corridors need replacement or complete removal. The electrical plugs and wiring must be so old, it's a complete surprise we didn't get shocked. The bar at the pool is falling apart and comparable with a shack. Paying 5 EUR extra for towels for the pool is unacceptable for a 4 Star hotel. The bar in the hotel looks nice but is closed. The terrace where breakfast is served needs a thorough cleaning. The hotel was full over the weekend, and at breakfast it was understaffed during rush hour, especially considering the new Covid-19 regulations that everything has to be served.

Only the booking went well. The private beach at Biodola is nice and the staff friendly.

It seems like the place needs a little refresh, bathroom smelled like sewage and the pool and amenities looked like they belonged to another era.

Smell in the bathroom. Breakfast where for some reason, you cannot serve yourself in the Buffet. Rather you ask a person, who is very flustered to serve you. Air conditioning didn't work, though thankfully at night with insect spray and the windows open,i didn't need it

Breakfast was nothing to shout about. Coffee was quite bad. Most staff could barely speak English. No air-conditioning in our room despite advertising that they have it. And because breakfast was so-so, we did not bother dining there. The towels were not really towels but more like bigger version of tea towels. I also feel like some of the staff prefer to entertain their italian guests lore than their non-Italian speaking guests.

Location was however fairly central. With a car, it is close to most sites on Isola d'Elba. The architecture is also quite special.
