Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesThe only, and I mean ONLY, area for improvement is the slow or inexistent internet in some rooms and limited TV channel selections. Granted, one does not come to Venice to watch TV, but the lack of consistent internet at adequate speeds ended up creating some work issues for me. I hope this can be addressed soon, and then everything would be just perfect.
Wonderful boutique hotel with clean, roomy, and beautifully decorated rooms. Extremely helpful staff always ready to answer questions and lend a helping hand. Superb location between two vaporetto stations (Zattere and S. Basilio). Will make this my go to hotel for all other trips to Venice!

United StatesThe transportation to the hotel was a problem and we paid alot of money to have us sit and wait for about 45 minutes for a less than exceptional taxi. For what we paid the boat should have been top notch and it was not.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff excellent and went out of their way to assist us with transportation issues. The location phenominal for experiencing Venice. We liked it was on the water and could get to it directly by water taxi.

The canal front location is away from the crowded noisy places in Vence but easily walkable to San Marco. Also, very accessible to the water taxis or other water transportation to Vencie sites and airport.

Beautiful building, located on the Zattere close to two water bus stops and a short walk into the central part of Venice. Located far enough out of the centre for the peace and quiet too. All the staff were wonderful and the cocktails at the bar are fantastic! Very, very comfortable bed with an amazing shower (very important for me!). The breakfast choice was huge and plentiful. Prosecco too if that’s what you fancy early in the morning! Fantastic hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

The professionalism and courtesy of the staff were exceptional. The A/C was perfect, very important as outside temperatures over 30. Exquisite decor. Bar area and courtyard very pleasant for conversations, meeting friends etc. The hotel is located just minutes on foot from an area (San Basilio) accessible to automobiles, a bonus for getting around the region; also nearby (San Zattere/Gesuati) is a stop for an express vaporetto that serves the airport as well as the Biennale main site (Arsenale) and Lido. The restaurants nearby on the Dorsoduro were consistently high-quality and good value. Also short walk to Accademia, Guggenheim collection, etc.

United KingdomI had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly helpful, especially in arranging the taxi and water taxi transfers from the airport, which made everything so smooth. The hotel itself, along with the room, was clean and modern. The location is perfect—just steps away from several waterside restaurants, and only about a 20-minute walk to St. Mark’s Square. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice!
