We were truly impressed by the professionalism and warmth of the entire staff. The food was exceptional — our dinner at the restaurant was delightful, and breakfast was equally fantastic, with fresh fruit, juices, cheese, and a variety of other delicious options. A special thank you to the Director for their outstanding professionalism and attention to detail. We had a wonderful experience and look forward to returning!

Parking can possibly be a little problematic if a space is not free close to the hotel. The spaces are small and the road narrow but there are many places all along the promenade road. I have not yet had a problem parking though having visited several times.

Really friendly and helpful staff as always. Very clean and comfortable rooms with pleasant smelling shower gel provided. Breakfast is excellent, plentiful and lots of choice. Has a nice little restaurant as well.

A 4star hotel that doesn’t have English speaking television channels is not a 4star hotel

The room for one person was ok, but far too small for two!

The bedrooms were a bit dated - I know they are trying to preserve the character but a single bed up against the wall was a little disappointing 😞

The hotel is very nice looking, the staff is friendly. The breakfast was great with plenty! of choices, probably one of the richest options I saw in 4-star hotels. Parking on the street next to the hotel was convenient. The beach is across the street and there are many food options around the hotel. We had an apartmant, which was very comfy, clean, and had enough space.

Breakfast and breakfast staff very good. Excellent choice of hot and cold foods for breakfast, very plentiful and consistent. The walk from the train was a little further than anticipated but still enjoyed the location. Liked being near many restaurants and nice pedestrian walkways. Staff at hotel very friendly and helpful.

The shower door did not close sufficiently and water was getting on the floor. I made this known to someone at the desk but was probably close to my check out date, so didn’t get anyone to come in and take a look, although they promised they would do that; putting towels on the floor so that you’re not gonna slip, is not acceptable. For the price for this hotel, everything should’ve been perfect. Dinner waitresses could also use some training in hospitality and showing enthusiasm for their guests. I also think that when people extend a stay and your booking during the week , the rates should be more accommodating for a single bed.

Shout out to Francesca at the front desk. She was so helpful and wonderful. This is a very elegant hotel with a five star breakfast if you have the capacity to eat as much as Incredible offerings included fresh vegetable juices, nondairy, gluten-free, coffees, teas, pastries, meats,cheese, yogurt. I did like the convenience of walking across the street to the beach, which is privately managed so that you would get a chair and an umbrella set up by an attendant. There was a charge of €20 at the time which is summer high peak season. The area was very safe. My single room offered a balcony where I could sit with a table outside and take in the view - spectacular. There’s also a rooftop lounge that offers food and drinks. It’s an incredible treat to see the carousel in the distance under the stars. Convenient to have an on-site restaurant for lunch and dinner as well. Thank you to the housekeeping staff who managed to do incredible work in extreme heat with no inside hallway air conditioning. Everyone was kind and delightful.

In the evening, you can see sunset from the room window. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

The hotel is right in the middle of the sea front, so is central for all the restaurants and cafes. The roof terrace is the perfect place to enjoy an aperitif whilst watching the sunset. Throughout our stay, the staff could not have been more helpful.

We enjoyed everything about the property and would definitely recommend it.

The Palace Hotel is a great place to stay while visiting multiple places in Italy. The hotel is beautiful with large rooms and a very nice rooftop deck and bar to enjoy the sunset or just relax. The staff is exceptional! They are kind and attentive to whatever you need or ask! In addition the breakfast was very good with lots of selections.

Sometimes some of the staff seemed a little rude, but the majority were lovely!

The location is perfect, right across the road from the beach & plenty of cafes/restaurants. The breakfast choice was great - hot/cold, sweet & savoury food with lots of drinks choices & made to order coffees. The room was very well equipted - the bathroom was lovely & there was a big wardrobe! The rooftop bar was lovely - beautiful views in a beautiful location!

We had 3 single rooms en-suite which had everything we could possibly need including beautiful bathroom products. However quite small and narrow with single bed against the wall. There was a wooden panel at the wall which rattled every time I turned. Next time maybe opt for double room for single occupancy.

The location is excellent. Walk across the boulevard and you are at the beach. Viareggio is a very nice and clean community. Both locals and tourists walk along the pedestrian corridor after dinner to socialize and people watch. Many restaurants and nice retail stores are located along the corridor also. The breakfast was typical European and quite good. The room was spotless. The staff was friendly and all seemed like they really loved their job.

There was nothing we didn't like that related to the hotel. The only thing that shocked us was having to pay a minimun of 30 euros per day to access the beach through a bagno. The fee was for the hire of an umbrella, 1 lounger, 1 deckchair and 1 directors chair - not even 2 loungers.

Breakfast was lovely with a wide range of options to choose from. The staff were amazing - friendly, helpful and nothing was to much for them. They made us feel at home. The hotel was just across the road from the beach. While there was traffic noise, we had a fantastic view of the sea.

Nothing to dislike.

My wife and I had a really enjoyable experience at the hotel.The room we had had a really comfortable bed and pillows,and excellent toiletries.The rooftop bar was great for a couple of drinks whilst watching the sun go down, and the breakfast on a morning had a fantastic selection.The staff at the hotel worked hard and we're pleasant,which helped to make our stay most enjoyable.We would certainly consider going g again in the fu
