This was a wonderful stay, in a clean, comfortable and well located hotel. The staff are exceptional with wonderful hospitality ensuring our every need was met, and beyond. A special mention especially to Stefano on the front desk in this regard, and the lovely ladies in the breakfast room who greeted us with lovely smiles every morning. The food was very tasty and fresh every morning, in a lovely atmosphere. I felt very safe at the hotel travelling only with my daughter, and we felt that we were looked after really well. I do hope we can return again!

During our stay, there was some maintenance work done in the terrace for two days and I would have apprecaited knowing this before. Not a bid deal tho!

Fourth time for us here. Staff was very kind, with our small greyhound too! Room was spacious, clean and cleaning staff was very flexible and professional. But the terrace is always the best part for me. I loved working with an incredible sea view :) Will surely come back here soon!

Arrived at hotel to find they were in the middle of decorating the main reception. Apologies were made and accepted and an upgrade, with a welcome bottle of bubbly was offered. The staff on reception, Gabrieli, deputy manager, and Marina were so kind and friendly every time we met, as were all the staff - after a few days we felt really at home. A very good breakfast awaited us every morning in a most elegant breakfast room - a little bit of past elegance. Viareggio is a lovely place to visit, and to stay at the Palace hotel makes it a memorable visit. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

Without doubt the most comprehensive breakfast layout I have ever enjoyed beautifully prepared and cooked , the staff are extremely polite , helpful and pleasant the hotel itself is bright and airy while retaining its original old world charm ..truly a memorable stay

The bed was a bit harder than we like, but that's a matter of personal preference.

The location of the Palace Hotel is perfect for enjoying the Carnevale parade! Our room faced the beach, so it was great for watching the parade or taking the few steps to get outside among the crowd. The view from the rooftop is spectacular as well. The breakfast each morning had many options, the room and bathroom were clean, and the staff were all very friendly.

The staff was amazing, kind and helpful throughout. We didn't say anything, but they knew it was my birthday and made the day feel special. Our 2nd floor balcony room was absolutely perfect for Carnevale.

Everything. We liked the art deco and old world charm. It was lovely and warm throughout the hotel. Service was impeccable. The room was very clean. The roof top terrace was brilliant. It was quiet, relaxing, comfortable. There were many rooms downstairs to relax in and read- there were even bookcases with books in different languages. Opposite a long sandy beach and very central shopping area. Staff were very friendly, chatty, welcoming and helpful.

We were truly impressed by the professionalism and warmth of the entire staff. The food was exceptional — our dinner at the restaurant was delightful, and breakfast was equally fantastic, with fresh fruit, juices, cheese, and a variety of other delicious options. A special thank you to the Director for their outstanding professionalism and attention to detail. We had a wonderful experience and look forward to returning!

Best hotel in Viareggio! :)

Parking can possibly be a little problematic if a space is not free close to the hotel. The spaces are small and the road narrow but there are many places all along the promenade road. I have not yet had a problem parking though having visited several times.

Really friendly and helpful staff as always. Very clean and comfortable rooms with pleasant smelling shower gel provided. Breakfast is excellent, plentiful and lots of choice. Has a nice little restaurant as well.

A 4star hotel that doesn’t have English speaking television channels is not a 4star hotel
