Nothing. Everything was great.

We caught the bus from Marco Polo airport to Piazzale Roma and then the Vaporetto (4.1 or 5.1) to San Zaccaria (near San Marco). Luca met us at the Vaparetto stop, helped us carry our luggage to the apartment and showed us the facilities. He was very helpful and made some great suggestions for where to eat and drink in the city. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable, in a lovely secluded location and only a 5 minute walk from San Marco. The apartment has all the equipment needed for a self-catering holiday with two co-op shops nearby. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Venice in a few years time.

Nikki House is one of the most romantic places where I have stayed in my life. Cielo apartment is more than perfect for romantic getaway in Venice. Views from windows and balcony were breathtaking. Everything we needed was in apartment and location was ideal for sightseeings.

The bed is really hard. If you like a hard bed like my husband then you will be happy with it. Be aware that the shower door only opens about 14 inches wide. If this is a problem for you find a different place.

There's no elevator and we were on the second floor. It's not a particularly difficult climb and none of us have mobility problems so not an issue for us, but some may have difficult with stairs. Alessandro helped us bring the luggage up, which was very kind and unexpected.

Our host, Alessandro, met us at the water taxi dock to take us to the property; a good thing, because we would still be walking around Venice trying to find it if he hadn't. It's tucked away on a tiny, but surprisingly well-traveled street in San Marco. We had views of canals out of some of the windows. Our unit was spacious and beautifully appointed. Kitchen was well-stocked with utensils and cooking supplies and, best of all...a bottle of prosseco!!! We were there during Carnivale and treated to views of costumed revellers walking in and out of our little street. Alessandro could not have been a better host; warm and accommodating. Location is central and excellent for exploring. High recommend!!

Alessandro is very responsive and helpful. The fact that someone meets you to hand you the keys is a great bonus. The area is fantastic, probably our favourite of the whole city. The flat was very clean as well.

There was nothing to dislike

The apartment is beautiful and well appointed. Very comfortable bed. Alessandro was fabulous. He communicated clearly before our arrival. He met us at the Vaporeto. He shared a list of his favourite restaurants. He also mapped on my phone the location of the bus terminal that we left Venice from. He was available on whatsApp if needed. I highly recommend Nikki House. Venice speaks for itself.

We were greeted by our host at the water bus station, he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He gave us a map with many different recommendations for day trips, restaurants, and more. The location was excellent - close to restaurants, shops and the square. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Cute little terrace to enjoy coffee in the morning. Would highly recommend staying there!

The location was really good. It was near San Marco square and it was 5 mins walk to the San Zaccaria boat stop. It was within walking distance to the Doge Palace as well. Lots of restaurants nearby. The host was very nice and picked us up from the boat stop. He gave us information (how to travel, key location, restaurants etc.) and also recommended some must see activities. He was flexible and allowed us to store our luggage after check-out till we left in the evening. He was also very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The apartment itself was very stylish, nice and comfortable.
