It was difficult to find the entrance door, as there was only a sign in the main hall among many others signs from the building. The entrance door wasn't opening wide so it was difficult to bring in the suitcases. There were too many furniture inside the room that were not useful hence very little space left. Bathroom was a bit outdated with the shower doors not completely waterproof.

Great location, it was good for staying one night. We could use a fridge, kettle and microwave in the shared area.

Disliked · The other bedroom was much warmer, and their air conditioning unit was quite loud. Timings for check - ins was very limited. The cold water drinking provision didn't work, I used the last of it when we arrived, then noticed it didn't re - fill, so goodness knows how long that water had been sitting there! There 's reference to a coffee machine, which I couldn't find, although there was a kettle that worked. I had asked if I could have a parcel posted to me there, and that request was decline.

One of our two bedrooms was excellent, with really effective air conditioning. The bathroom was fine too, but as it was dark blue, no - one had notice the monumental cobwebs stretching all above the mirror ( I didn't either until a big fat spider cam crawling out from within its midst! ) The receptionist was really nice.

Very good location, a quiet place in the middle of city centre. Nice and comfortable shared toilet and private shower in the room. The room was small but tidy. The staff was excellent.

The most serious problem was the lack of hot water. This is not really a tolerable problem. Added to this was the fact that when the water pipes were used, they made a sound like mating whales. The double bed was made up of two separate beds which, under stress, usually moved out of position and gradually moved away from each other.

The hotel is very well located on one of the busiest streets in the city, not far from the train station. It is actually an old apartment that has been converted into a hotel. This is shown by the fact that the bathroom is simply "fenced off" from the room. The room was clean and the staff friendly.

Somewhat of a surprise as I expected a 'hotel' not an apartment with many rooms. Having said that it was very nice. We arrived before the 15:00 check-in to find it closed. Fair enough, check-in was at 3. The very nice and professional receptionist arride precisely at 3. Check-in went smoothly. Our room was clean and comfortable. It suited our needs perfectly - we didn't come to Genoa to spend time in the room. The on-suite bathroom was small but functional. The shower stall was very small, granted I'm a big guy. I chose to shower in the shared bathroom and everything worked out well at the end. Getting to the third floor "hotel" is a challenge with it's minute elevator that only fits two people and a small suitcase. If you have a backpack on you, you better enter the lift in reverse because you won't be able to turn around. All part of the adventure. And, yes, I'd stay there again.

The location is perfect, the city center. Close to the train station, direct bus to the airport. The room is very basic. The staff was nice and helpful.

1. The same keys for the doors in the rooms!!! We booked several rooms and accidentally found out that we can open the doors of each other, and other people's rooms. Do not leave valuables without you in the room! 2. We looked for the front door to the hotel for a long time, there is no map for driving on the car to hotel and to parking. 3. The strong smell of chemical deodorant was in the rooms.

Even though it was a shared bathroom, we had our own shower and bidet in the room. The bed was comfortable and the room was good sized with high ceilings. It’s in a busy Main Street where you find a lot of stores and places to eat. Close to main attractions by foot or bus.
