The only thing is that the mattress is old and uncomfortable, I would recommend changing the pillows too. It is very important to have a good rest after many hours of walking.

The apartment would benefit with another unit in the bedroom. Water closet / toilet is a little tight but manageable. Washing machine is located outside the room.

Cleanliness, Close proximity to stores , restaurants and public transport, Cozy and homey, Well stocked kitchen, clean and sufficient towels and linens provided. Shower area and bathroom sink is good. Complimentary snacks and condiments is very much appreciated.

We were delighted with this gorgeous apartment in Florence, the ceiling was fabulous showing the history of the building. Such a great find. It was comfortable and quiet with everything we needed - the shower was fantastic! The host could not have been more helpful, especially accommodating our changing travel arrangements. It is in a great location too being near a wonderful square with lots of good restaurants and a small, well stocked supermarket, and yet easy walking distance to all the key attractions of Florence. Highly recommend it for a couple wanting to both see classic tourist Florence but who also want to get a real feel for the local aspect

Everything in the apartment is quite old and in need of renovation. The sofa is old and uncomfortable to sleep on. It would also be helpful to have a coffee machine: there’s only a moka coffee maker. In addition, guests are being asked to pay a destination fee per person per day for the benefit of the owner, to be paid in cash at the property. Nevertheless, certain apartment services at the end of the stay are outsourced to guests, such as taking out the trash to the dumpsters, undoing the beds and putting away the used sheets and towels, switching off the gas and the heating. Given that these cervices are already paid for through the rent and the separate destination fee, these should be done by the cleaning staff and not outsourced to guests who are there on holidays. Finally, the electricity is switched off when guests are not in the apartment, which means that no dishwasher or other devices can run or be charged while guests are away, and that no food can be left in the fridge.

Everything was very clean, they let us store the baggages even though we arrived earlier than expected. The apartment is part of a very charismatic renovated 12th century monastery, it has everything and the owner is very professional handling everything. We were very happy to have stayed here overall, everything is very comfortable and is a great stay when visiting Florence

Other than the parking problems, nothing really. We parked outside the city and got a tram to the city and then had a 20min walk to the apartment.

For us the location was great. Being the south side of Florence it was not nearly as rammed with tourist groups. We also enjoy being in a local area. For the main attactions in Venice, all were about a 20min walk which is not a problem when walking through such interesting areas. There were plenty of local bars and cocktail serving places within 2 to 5 minutes walk. The one over the Piazza is great! There were a number of local eateries and the one just around the corner was great and catered for my Gluten intolerent wife without any issues. The apartment was lovely, spacious and had everything that we needed. I don't think that we had the aircon on as it was lovely and cool. There are some nice original features that add to the apartments interest. Local information had been left regarding eateries and shops.

It was hard to keep shower water off the floor but we just hung the floor mat out to dry on the balcony. Not a big deal.

Liked the way the apartment was updated while still retaining some original features. Perfect location- easy to walk everywhere. Parking close by and owner helped us get a pass. Had everything we needed. Quiet and the bed was comfy!

When you went out you had to take the key out of the electrics key slot so we could not let appliances charging our get the washing machine to finish while we wete out.

Quiet location close to a mini mart restaurants and bus stops. Easy to walk across the river into the main attraction areas. Pantry well stocked with some basic items jam salt oil pasta etc.

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect - close to some amazing traditional trattorias, as well as the train station or a bus stop to attractions. Francesco was super accommodating, quick to reply and provided thorough instructions & super helpful tips! The apartment was very well equipped with everything for an enjoyable stay & was very cosy. Apartment is on the first floor of a very old building with long flight of stairs, might be difficult for a mobility impaired guest.

Nicely furnished apartment with everything you would need for a short stay. The owner, Francesco, was really helpful, answering all my questions re parking, etc very quickly. Check in and check out very easy. I liked the neighbourhood, great for restaurants and bars and easy walk to Boboli and the centro storico.

There was nothing wrong, we just got a bit concerned with some noise from upstairs until we realized it was a dog.
