Dinner room staff could be a little bit more attentive.

The class of Superior Room is spacious. Dinner and italian cuisine was very enjoyable. There is free parking behind the building, and a bus stop in walking distance (45min to city center).

We didn't like "Spanish steak" for the dinner. It was pork meat and too salty.. Also taxes are very high in Italy so we payed a little more extra on checkout. Also , some of the waitress doesn't speak English well which i consider it's very important if you are serving in hotel of 4 stars.

Perfect place if you don't want to hear city noises , about meal - we had breakfast included in the offer and it was very good. About dinner and deserts - we have tried tiramisu and it was great. The hotel itself is clean , and the rooms too - just the hotel is old but for it's condition it's great maintained. Parking is big and there was always place for a car.

Good price relative to other hotels during the same time. Good free private parking. Easy to check-in and check-out. Everything's OK. Location is quite good if you have a car.

The 'superior' room was a bit tired. Some fittings like toilet roll holder was loose. Just one pair of slippers between two people and no dressing gowns. Receptionist on departure could have been more friendly, but we all have our off moments. We have already booked again for our return trip.

Very convenient for the industrial area where my company is based. Quiet location on a hill. But only 15 minute drive outside peak hours to historic centre. Good breakfast, decent dinner. Friendly and efficient staff. Decor a bit tired, but comfortable enough.

Everything was almost ok. I did not have major concern. Moquette in the room was the only minus and matress of the third bed was not super. I don't have anything else to add.

There's not that many places to go in walking distance. There is a small shopping center but that's about it.

Service is slow. Property not maintained to the level expected from Mercure brand. Don't provide any toiletry, glasses, dental kits, drinking water bottles unless you ask for it. Seems the hotel deliberately wants to remain with covid protocol. Saving costs? Don't know...

Only the air conditioner was not working for a while. However, this inconvenience was rectified.

We traveled as a couple along with our dog. Initially, our room had a malfunctioning air conditioner, but the staff did their best to assist us. They managed to fix the air conditioner at first, but it stopped working again after a day. Later, they provided us with another room nearby, which was excellent and had a perfectly functioning air conditioner. In the intense summer heat of Italy, not having air conditioning was quite challenging. Overall, we enjoyed our stay: there was ample parking, a decent breakfast, and polite staff. We dined at the hotel's restaurant only once. Unfortunately, my fish dish came with undercooked potatoes, so for the rest of our stay, we opted to have dinner elsewhere. It's worth noting that getting from the hotel to Genoa at this time is a bit challenging. The metro line is completely closed, so one needs to rely on regional trains or buses. This should be taken into account as the journey to Genoa can take around an hour. Regional trains are not very frequent, and on weekends, they have longer intervals. On weekends and during the night, it's sometimes only possible to return by bus. The hotel is conveniently situated next to a large shopping center with numerous shops and cafes.
