We spent a very enjoyable 7 nights / 6 days in this little gem of a B&B which has only 4 very comfortable, modern and quiet rooms. Our room did have a balcony, but not a view. Very comfortable and quiet. Location excellent. The hosts are not immediately on site - only the other guests. Hosts are quickly available via WhatsApp (voice or text) and speak English and Spanish. The breakfast is available 24/7 and adequately stocked. We would happily stay here again - Highly Recommended.

Our stay was wonderful. The staffs were friendly and Alessandro the owner was very helpful and kind. He was in touch with us via WhatsApp and giving us many suggestions for restaurants and attractions. In addition he was checking with us of any need we might have in order to have a pleasant stay. Breakfast was provided with enough good choices in lovely common area. Our room was exactly looked as it was in the picture. Clean and bed was comfortable. I would appreciate more lights but over all was okay. The location is fantastic. Near to all the attractions we needed to visit and see.

We loved everything!

We recently travelled across Europe and found this apartment exceptional in every way! Alessandro, the owner, pays close attention to even the smallest details. The apartment was impeccably clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and its location was fantastic. Each morning, we were treated to a beautifully presented breakfast, with fresh croissants. Natural light in this particular room could be better, but yet again, we spent most of the days outside, so it didn't really bother us.

We stayed in the Duplex Suite and enjoyed the extra space we had, even though it was just the two of us. After hours spent at the museums, one of us could take a nap upstairs, while the other could still hang out in the living area downstairs. Bed was super comfortable and the couch downstairs as well. Awesome size modern bathroom. There is a mini fridge for some extra items to supplement the breakfast or have just a ham and cheese board in the evening. The common area with super nice, fully equipped kitchen and dining space is very inviting, even has a fireplace! The solution of the basket breakfast was very much appreciated and also the fresh fruit, juice etc. that was provided. We loved the location right at the river, you just have to cross the bridge and are in the middle of all tourist attractions, yet a bit away from all of it. A supermarket is around the corner and so are a whole bunch of local restaurants. For some apparently you need reservation, which felt a bit strange to us. Alessandro, the host, is amazingly helpful and kind, giving many suggestions for places to visit, restaurants and also providing some history of Florence. Anything you need help with, he is there for you.

Perfect location. Value for money. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast offered had many options and it was perfect to grab and go. The staff who welcomed me at the door was very polite and kind.

You cater breakfast for yourself (plenty of selection, fresh milk, fruit, fresh croissants but not fresh bread). No views. I think this is a great place for sleeping, don't think of it as a place to spend the day. Price is high, but probably normal for Florence.

B&B is made of rooms from a large flat, with a common living room and kitchen. It's nice and quiet. No view to the river or street, but plenty of light from windows to internal courts. One of the rooms is on two levels, with a beautiful vaulted ceiling. The building is a historical residence. Modern high quality furnishings. Alessandro runs the place and is a really kind host. Location is very good - 5 minutes walk to Ponte Vecchio.

The room smelled like cigarette smoke which was very unpleasant and it was too cold to sleep with the window open. The smell was quite strong which was a bummer.

The location of the BnB is excellent and the room was very large and clean. Alessandro was a very gracious host and sent a lot of recommendations and helpful tips. He did his best to ensure I had a nice stay! The common area was well kept and there was a nice breakfast available.

There was supposed to be no smoking inside (only on private outdoor areas); however, the shared kitchen/dining area reeked of it, and some of the smell migrated into our room. There’s only one window in the area, so it took all night to clear the air. Alessandro did offer to have the cleaner spray the rooms with something that was supposed to clean the air.

Alessandro was an extremely helpful host. Shared kitchen facilities were clean and spacious. Ample basket of items for breakfast. Our outdoor space was pleasant and stayed dry even though it rained.

What’s not to like about Medici Soderini! It exceeded our expectations on convenience and comfort. The breakfast every morning was a delicious freshly delivered croissant with choice of yogurt and fruit. The room/bathroom/common area were updated, cozy and clean. Most importantly communication with the host was top-notched. We felt completely at home during our stay.

Location was excellent, close to all tourist spots but far enough to be quiet and near local restaurants. Room was comfortable and parking was only about 10 min walk from the B&B and was reasonably priced. Espresso machine and kitchen were bonus!

Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We were having issues with our credit card being declined for the foreign transaction and they were more than flexible on working with us. They even made restaurant reservations for us! The location is phenomenal - close to everything, but across the River from the tourist hustle and bustle. It was absolutely perfect. We walked to everything! They have Italian snacks and even had an espresso machine :)
