Absolutely nothing to dislike

The property is amazing. Overlooks the Piazza del Commune and the view from the window is incredible. The facilities are first class, great kitchen, a dining area with another great view out the window, and the sitting are is fantastic. Spacious bedroom, good bathroom. It’s location is spectacular.

I was regret that I didn’t stay here longer

This was our second visit and we love the location in the middle of the old town with exceptional view. The apartment is situated within walking distance of all the major sites, shops and restaurants. Everything you need is in this very nice clean apartment.

Cars were speeding through the narrow streets of Assisi all night long. There is a drainage grate directly outside where the bedroom is located and cars were running over it throughout the night. The noise was simply unreal and we did not get any sleep on our the first night there. We moved to the top floor living room and despite the noise from the crowd below, and from the sound of the bell from Church of Santa Maria sopra Minerva, we were able to finally get some sleep. The apartment listed that there was a washing machine available for guests to use. However, upon contacting the host prior to checking in, I was informed that the washing machine wasn't available due to it needing repairs and the host had informed me that the plumber would be coming the following week (which did us no good). It appears that the host has since removed washing machine from the amenities.

Mazzini 3 was one of the cleanest apartments that I've ever rented. Checking in was extremely easy because keys are stored in the lockbox and the lockbox code is sent hours prior to check-in. Don't make the same mistake of calling the host for the code by checking your messages on Booking prior to checking in. The central location of this apartment cannot be beat. It is situated in Piazza del Commune that houses Church of Santa Maria sopra Minerva, myriad of restaurants, shops, a small grocery store, a pharmacy and an ATM. The central location makes it ideal for walking around Assisi and admiring the beautiful architecture of this city. As I've stated in the beginning, Mazzini 3 is one of the cleanest apartments you'll ever rent. Upon entering, you'll be required to go up a steep set of stairs to get to the main unit. The kitchen, the bedroom, and the living room were immaculate. The kitchen had all the necessary kitchenware required for cooking. The living room had a TV, which we did not end up using, and a sofa that can be converted into a bed. The heater is very old and requires a long warm-up period but worked extremely well. HINT: Assisi requires a lot of strenuous walking with many steps and changes in elevation; therefore, dragging your luggage up a graded incline won't be pleasant. I highly recommend doing the following from the train station to minimize the hardship of having to travel with your luggage. Once you get on Bus C (ticket purchased inside the restaurant if the store is closed), get off on "P. Matteotti" and it'll be all downhill to Mazzini 3. Once you check out, head down towards Basilica di Santa Chiara and then continue until you reach the outside walls of the city. It'll be mostly all downhill from start to finish. There will be a bus station called "Largo Properzio" and from there, take Bus C to the train station.

The location is absolutely wonderful and the host was amazingly helpful when we needed to navigate problems around lost luggage. The apartment is very clean and spacious. We had a great time in Assisi. The location is really superb!
