Staff are super helpful. The hotel is extremely well located. Room was better than I expected. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Everything is made fresh onsite. Try dinner, also delicious. This place offers a true holiday experience. First class.

Nothing really! Perhaps some more fruit options at breakfast (but that’s being really picky!), or an iron in the room- but the latter wasn’t as issue as the owner arranged for a few clothes that needed ironing to be done for me (even more brilliant service!)

Our stay was more 5* than 3*! Beautiful homely hotel, with so many little touches that made our stay so wonderful. Breakfast was great, a lovely selection of pastries and also some hot food. The view from the terrace was stunning and perfect to watch the sunset from. And the little things like the positive/ affirmation signs, and games for kids to play, all just added to a lovely stay.

Special place, with nice touches. The lake patio is perfect for a dip and for brealfast or sunset meal away from the crowds, very peaceful. The staff are so warm and welcoming- a true touch of Italian hospitality

Breakfast is perfect. I would choose and stay here again because I could not forget this breakfast. Second time visiting and they remembered me and remembered my dog when I came back. Nice to have a lake in front to swim or relax in the sunbeds and a spa nearby to visit.

I wish I had booked a balcony. There was a kettle but no tea and coffee I would imagine if you asked for it would have been given.

Location is superb, right in the heart of the castle. Staff go above and beyond with welcomes and help with things to do and see and timetables for ferries and buses. A very big thank you. Loved the little outdoor space for a sunbathe and swimming in the lake to cool off from the summer sun. Breakfast was delicious would highly recommend the homemade strawberry and custard tart the pastry is soft and crumbly delicious. Breakfast by the lake is something special. I shall miss it. Car parking is available (with a fee) worth it. Fridge so water kept cool all day. A delicious treat at the end of our stay which came in handy at the airport. A wonderful stay.

The place was phenomenal, family owned hotel Nice and clean, good rooms, spacious enough! Very lovely Location was spectacular! Deck- access for a swim at the lake and for the boat docking. We requested the boat and was easily orders for us, the swim was great! Loved loved the hotel, highly recommend!

Location, location, location. It is a small quaint hotel, clean, comfortable, and well worth the price. The staff was amazing, better than amazing! Patio on the water, restaurants and shopping just a stone throw away, couldn't so for a better experience.

Lack of iron in the room, could do with teabags in the room since we had a kettle

The property’s location is amazing, it is right in the middle of the town centre and our room was right on the high street but could barely hear any noise after 10pm. The real treat is the hotel back garden facing the lake. Absolutely amazing view, great spot to chill sunbathe , take a dip in the lake and watch the sunset. Breakfast is amazing everything is homemade, probably could do with a couple More savoury options but that nitpicking. very great choice overrall. Staff is also very attentive, you can tell the family running it pours a lot of love into it :)

I didn't feel like I was at the hotel, it was like visiting my relatives in their house. Very kind and friendly family-staff. Great location, clean room with quiet AC, beautiful view on the pier. Would love to stay there again, but longer.

This is a dream, amazing views, quaint furnishings to accompany the view, very unpretentious luxury and a lot of heart and enthusiasm from hotel staff. The water pressure and temperature was fantastic and our lake view was phenomenal to say the least. Beds were comfortable, enough space for 2 medium suitcases and lots of our smaller bags. The hotel has a fantastic buffet breakfast with homemade cakes and coffee service. The lake jetty was all that you need with a lovely terrace to eat your breakfast. Theres a very small lift to take your suitcases up.

Nothing to dislike

What a location, I had to pinch myself. We pulled into hotel car park which was small and full but straight away the owner of the hotel came and greeted us with a handshake and assured us all would be just fine and said to leave keys with them We advised that we were leaving early the next day and we were pleasantly surprised to find that before we went to bed that night, our car had been pulled out and parked close to the exit meaning we would have a seamless departure. Such a nice touch 👌 The hotel was spotlessly clean, the decor was really beautiful and the views were stunning. It felt like a home from home and we were really able to relax for the short time we were there. In the morning of departure we were so grateful for the kindness shown to us. We departed before breakfast but Alexandro greeted us and offer us coffee and pastries and sent us away with a beautiful gift of Almond cake 🥰🇮🇹 Our only downside was that we didn’t stay here longer… we are already looking at our diary to see when we can go back again.
