I really didn’t like the restaurant offering although the staff are nice. I found it dated, basic, over priced and it needs an overhaul (frozen bought in desserts and only a choice of red or white sparking house wine - no wine list was offered..) the next day for 30 euros I had a stunning three course meal with coffee and water in a local 4 star hotel and a beautiful local wine list. If Marco’s wants to be more than a B&B it needs an overhaul I think on the F&B side. This was frustrating as I would have eaten there more but it wasn’t worth the money.

Hotel is the perfect retreat! The rooms here are not only comfortable but also cozy, with attention to detail in the interior design, creating a special atmosphere of comfort. The cleanliness in the rooms is maintained at a high level, and every time we returned to our room, we felt freshness and comfort. The hotel staff deserves special mention - friendly and attentive, they made our stay particularly enjoyable. The surroundings of the hotel are simply breathtaking, with picturesque views and plenty of opportunities for tourism and walks. The room is too small and uncomfortable at all, there is no elevator you have to pick up your bags up. We had a toddler with us we paid extra for the bed and the room was very tiny we barely could move, but the location and the stuff were good

Breakfast needs much improvement and variation. Except for tea/coffee, no hot food is served in breakfast. Room was cramped, did not have even a proper chair for sitting. did not have the facility for making tea/coffee. Absence of lift.

Everything was just lovely. Staff on reception were very welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean with a great view of the lake and a small balcony. There was a good selection of foods for breakfast and the service was friendly. We ate dinner in the restaurant each night because the food was delicious and the staff were excellent. A great location for the boats and the Funicular.

This is a very nice hotel with a great view of the lake from the terrace. The location is incredible near the center. If we are ever in Como again, we will definitely stay here. The staff is very polite. The breakfast was very delicious and with great view. We recommend this hotel!

From the moment we arrived the team at Hotel Marco made our 7 night stay very enjoyable. Yes the rooms are on the small side but they have everything you need and would expect in a boutique style small hotel such as this. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of hot water and fresh towels daily. The staff were exceptional with special mention to Sefa, Davide, Ilda and Khiarra. We ate breakfast each morning soaking up the atmosphere as we overlooked the lake. We had dinner in the restaurant on one of the evenings and this was also very good. All in all we would recommend a stay at Hotel Marco if you want genuine hospitality and an excellent location.
