We had a great stay here, the staff are very friendly and there is a community feel to this place where all the guests interact and holiday together. We unfortunately didn't get to try their dinner, as they were fully booked. I would suggest booking beforehand. There are also many facilities for those wishing to self-cater onsite. We will definitely return. Thank you for everything!

I don’t know where to start. The property is amazing, the breakfast is delicious and the service and staff are beyond amazing. We had a great stay and wished we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend to either stay and relax around the property or go and visit nearby places. Oh and I should not forget to mention that we had a wonderful cooking class, making arancini!

Our stay at Mangiabove was absolutely lovely. Iggy has thought of every little detail. The rooms were spacious, the breakfast was tasty and the pool area was relaxing. Iggy also made sure to send us some amazing recommendations in town. We can’t wait to come back here again one day.

Mangiabove is a very special place, made even more exceptional by the wonderful people who run it. The guest house is beautiful and has a great setting, looking out over the coast, and with an amazing infinity pool. Everything has been thought through with care. The breakfast is great with many local delicacies on offer. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed - our 'Junior Suite' had its own secluded terrace to watch the beautiful sunsets from. Everything! Great location on the slopes above the coast, wonderfully presented, fully equipped rooms, beautiful pool available for night swims, stone curlews singing at dusk, wind in the pines mid-afternoon, but best of all the hosts who could not do enough to make our visit so enjoyable.

The pool is outstanding. The view, size, cleanliness, deck even the temperature of the water was perfect. Breakfast was something that we looked forward to every morning. We loved the view from our room and spent a lot of time just hanging out a the pool.

Turning into the property from the main road is a bit harrowing, as you follow a 200 meter or so single lane road. Once you clear that obstacle, you’re in paradise.

While the property is stunning, rooms well-appointed, and location close to the boardwalk in Marina di Ragusa, the experience is made by the warmth that Iggy and Lara bring to your stay. Their recommendations were on point and they truly want you to feel at home.

We absolutely loved everything about Mangiabove! The pool is incredibly stunning visually and also half salt water half chlorine which was nice attention to detail. The rooms all have spacious outdoor areas which made the evenings and mornings incredible as you can take advantage of the outdoors and not be confined to your hotel room! We chose an apartment and it was perfect for us as we wanted to cook our own food but also go out and see what Marina Di Ragusa had to offer! The apartment was perfectly fitted, all cooking equipment available:). Similarly, the room was regularly cleaned (every 2-3 days) and we were provided lots of towels for bathing and swimming outdoors. Another added touch was the delicious cakes and Italian snacks we received in our fridge every few days:)). The vibe of the place was what we loved the most. Iggy, Lara and Marco (and all the other lovely people) were incredibly warm and friendly hosts. Their customer service was better than I have received at 99% of the 5 star hotels I have been to. Iggy and Marco were incredibly helpful going out of their way to organise nice things for us to do and amazing restaurants to enjoy. They even helped us rent a car at a very good rate compared to the regular rental services, which saved us a lot of money:). Overall, I cannot fault anything about the Mangiabove! The only problem we had was that we had to leave haha! Will be back very shortly😁 lots of love, Benjie and Philla from London
