Check-in and out well organized, but without any personal contact. Very good location, right in downtown, steps from the ferry ( which did not work during our stay- seems to be suspended for some time), 10-15min walk to train.

The walls were super thin. I could hear the people next to us as if they were next to me. I could hear their conversations and movements in their room. Our room had a private bathroom, but we had to walk down the hall to use it.

If the walls weren't paper thin, this place would be a 10. It's really convenient, near the marina and close to restaurants and shops and you can take a 10 min bus to the property from the station. They helped us get Cinque Terre online tickets and offered suggestions of where to eat. They also were very accommodating and helped us storing our bags until check in, and they left them in our room for us.

Very strange smell was at my room in the morning. I think from the restaurant in neighbourhood but it was terrible. As for me I don't want to feel the aroma of fried potatoes early morning I'm sure it took place occasionally not all the time

bathroom had major issues. top shower head hit you with cold water to begin with, had to wait a lot for proper temperature. super small shower cabin. as you enter to the building the lobby was super smelly.

Location was amazing, easy to find, size was good. cleanliness ok. easy to access to everyhing in the city. fair value for price, but nothing spectacular.

The only small inconvenient was that I had to switch the multi outlets adaptors everyday to plug in the hair curler or to iron the clothes and the wall outlets were fragile and not well fixed in the wall. But that can be solved if you bring your own adapter.

Very good location, within 15min from train station and 3min to La Spezia harbour. Nice area The room was cleaned every 2 days and towels were replaced

Good central location and very comfortable bed. Great hot shower and helpful on check in. Lots of information given by staff on the Cinq Terre National Park and trains between the villages.

The air freshener they put in the room was just unbearable sorry… there was no fresh air and we had to put it inside the wardrobe and open the windows. It was too strong and chemical.

The location. It is right in the center of La Spezia and it is walkable from everything!

AC was wonky at times. Bedroom and Bathroom were on the smaller side.

Great location! Close to restaurants and shopping in La Spezia and only ~15 min walk to train station. Rooms were comfortable and well decorated.

We had booked a room with a double and a single bed, the single bed was not made so we had to use the double. It was a big bed, so not a big deal, but just a tip if you intend on using the single bed and it's just two people to let the staff know in advance.

Mama is not a hotel, but a room for rent. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped (small fridge with bottled water, tea and instant coffee, some cookies). Please note that there's not always someone at reception, but communication beforehand via WhatsApp was fast and easy. Lots of restaurants/ bars in the vicinity. Station is a 15 minute walk

The lobby was sweltering hot. The doors shutting at all hours made for an interrupted sleep. The shower was super tiny.

Sarah at the front desk was very helpful. She reached out to me a couple of times making sure I didn't have questions. She also suggested a couple of area restaurants we might like. The room was nice and clean. The location was very good and centrally located. It was very convenient.
