The only small downside is that the place isn’t very close to the city center. You’ll need to take a bus or drive if you have a car. We knew this going in and still chose it because the home looked so nice—and it really was! If being within walking distance to the city center isn’t a priority, this spot is perfect. One big advantage is that parking is easy and free, unlike the city center where parking can be expensive and tricky to find. So it was actually a bonus for us in that sense!

Our stay in Florence was spontaneous, and we needed a place to stay very late at night. We arrived around 11 p.m., and the host was incredibly kind and helpful. Despite the late hour, he came to meet us, gave us the keys, and even helped us find a parking spot. The home itself was a wonderful surprise—beautiful, modern, and equipped with everything we needed. From coffee, water, and beers to a washing machine, it really felt like they thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot for such a last-minute booking! Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a cozy, well-equipped place with a fantastic host :)

I recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at Maison Galli in Florence, and I can’t say enough about how incredible the experience was. From the moment I arrived, Pierpalo made me feel like a treasured guest. His genuine warmth and dedication to ensuring I had the best stay possible was truly remarkable. Maison Galli itself is a gem—beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and with an ambiance that makes you feel right at home in the heart of Florence. Every detail, from the luxurious bedding to the thoughtful amenities, showcased the love and care that Pierpalo has put into this place. But what truly set this stay apart was Pierpalo himself. He was always available when I needed something—whether it was a recommendation for a local spot to explore or simply ensuring everything was perfect. His knowledge of the city and his friendly demeanor made all the difference, turning my trip into a truly memorable experience. The location of Maison Galli was also ideal, making it easy to explore Florence’s beautiful sights while offering a peaceful retreat after long days of discovery. Coming back to such a cozy and welcoming space was always a highlight of my day. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I’ll be telling everyone about Maison Galli and Pierpalo’s exceptional hospitality. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!

I can't think of anything! I guess I would have enjoyed a bath, but the rain shower was truly enjoyable!

Pierpaolo really did the most to make us comfortable. Not only did he meet us to give us the keys and show us around the apartment with a refreshing cold beer, but also picked us up from the train station in the city centre. The great service provided really made sense after finding out Pierpaolo has years of experience in hospitality. The apartment was extremely clean and felt welcoming with beautiful bedding, nice toiletries and great coffee. In the evenings we really enjoyed the plush couch and a large flat screen TV with Netflix and the bed was one of the most comfortable ones I've ever slept in. The modern and spacious design of the apartment with the cute balcony overlooking the quaint garden with a view towards the sunset really made our vacation so much more enjoyable. In top of everything Pierpaolo was always available via Whatsapp to help with any issues having to do with the apartment and so much more - recommendations for dinner, hiking, transport etc.

We loved being met by the host who explained everything to us about their apartment. Very friendly and welcoming , he also showed us things to do, see, and where to eat on the map at the apartment. This was really lovely, as we visited some extra things he had mentioned in the town. A very special treat was waiting for us in the fridge of two cold beers and cold water. Thanks for this as we were very hot after our long journey. The air conditioning is a bonus and the balcony is awesome, so peaceful and quiet. Great to hang our washing out on the balcony washing line.

The apartment was clean and had all the facilities we needed. Pierpaolo was very friendly and helpful. I was comfortable reaching out to him for random questions about the city. He gave us great recommendations for food and places to visit. The apartment is 20 mins bus drive from the downtown. Overall, it was a great experience and we’ll book the property again if we are in town.

We liked everything. The location is 20min from city center with a bus. Perfect to leave your car here and go to the center ( because you dont want to drive trough hectic traffic in the center :D or make a wrong turn into trafic limited zone). The apartment is spacious, bright, and well organized. You have everything you need for your perfect stay. We felt like at home. You have fully equipt kitchen, with stowe, microwave, dishwasher and a lot of other equipment you can use. You can also use a washing machine if you need a quick wash. The apartment had a nice balcony and there were two beers and free water waitig for us, as well as the most delicious cookies. The bathrom is spacious, and very clean. You have a hairdrier. And the most perfect feature is the most comfortable bed ever. We even wish we had it at home. In short words, it was perfect stay. Pierpaolo gave us some great advice how to see Florence attractions and what restaurants to visit. He also advised what to see and where to stop near Siena. He was always available for help. We would recomend this place to everyone.
