A beautiful apartment in a fantastic location. It had a very opulent feel to it. We particularly liked the the communal balcony overlooking the courtyard. It was very charming, very clean and comfortable and the location was fantastic. The hosts were very helpful and attentive too. We would definitely visit again.

The apartment was superb in every way. The exterior, an 18th century palace, has been beautifully restored and the owners have created a modern palace inside. The apartment is spacious and tastefully decorated. The bed is wonderfully comfortable. The air conditioning was very good. The bathroom walls are covered with beautiful Sicilian marble and owners have used the best quality fixtures and fittings. It is luxurious. We especially loved the loggia where we enjoyed our morning coffee and a drink in the evening. The owners were helpful - Alice kindly booked a taxi for us when we were leaving. We hope to return.

Not really a problem for us, but there are 20 plus steps to climb which could be an issue for some people.

The apartment is located in a palazzo in an excellent location with many good choices for dining a ahort walk away and lots of atmospheric little lanes to wander about in. It is spacious, comfortable and equipped with modern appliances. There is a large terrace overlooking a busy cocktail bar in the Palace courtyard. The bar is noisy, but the apartment is so well soundproofed that it is not a problem at night. The bed is large and comfortable, a little on the firm side. The air conditioning is very good. The rooms were surprisingly large. The bathroom alone must be at least 8 metres long. It is equipped with a modern bath, a wet room shower, double sinks etc. We never met the hosts, which is a shame, as I would have liked to thank them personally for our stay. We would definitely stay again.

A beautiful renovated apartment in a charming old building where we enjoyed being in the center of Ortigia accessing all the restaurants, shops and beaches but also enjoyed a comfortable stay in the apartment. Clean and comfortable bed and pillows, a large room and bathroom, and a very nice hall and kitchen. Welcoming and helpful hosts! All was perfect. Thank you Alice and Max!

The apartment is wonderful, modern, spacious and right in the heart of Ortigia. The support team were great and we will defintiely stay here again as compared to many tiny hotels in the city this is by far the better option.

Curtains or partial blinds for privacy whilst having natural light would be appreciated. Some light in the palace stairs when coming back at night would be great.

Clean and central, large room, comfy bed. Max gave us a thorough list of restaurants and attractions and provided us with laundromat tokens b/c we did not have access to theirs. The shared entry courtyard was a nice place to play a game of cards or have a drink.

Our wifi didn’t work. Our street was quite noisy in the mornings, though the facility’s noise insulation was good.

Comfortable, large room, minimalist architecture in an old palace. We loved the style and the fact that everything was brand new and clean. The location was central, short walking distance to all major attractions, restaurants and bars. The common terrace area was calm and very pleasant.
