This place is outstanding, it’s a soft melange of the atmosphere of the ancient building and subtle modern interior. Room was super super clean, comfortable, light, spacious, equipped with above standard amenities. I had a street view through red geraniums on my window. When opening the window first I saw beautiful flowers then typical italian balconies and magical street. Flowers here really touched my heart, there are roses and geraniums on the patio balconies offering magical view of backyard and church tower. Room is softly modern, cozy, bed is very comfortable. I found toothbrush, signature shower gel and lotion, vanity kit, shower cap, sleepers, water (still/sparkling). Very ambient scent in the room because of the signature home fragrance diffuser. What I have to stress out is the exceptionally helpful staff. Human factor is a priceless assett here. Communication and assistance was outstanding. Hotel has no reception I was provided detailed assistance, my room was ready so I was allowed to get in before check in time and leave my luggage in the hotel after check out what I considered as extremly convenient as I stayed in Bergamo only two days. Pasticceria on the ground floor offers a high quality pastry from morning pastry to sophisticated artisan little desserts in a cozy and old charm luxurious interior. Summary: people involved, comfortness, cleanliness, super cozy room, gentle sense to combine history and modern comfort, touch of flowers and cute details it all made my stay unforgettable. Thanks for everything. If I come back I will definitely stay here again

There is no reception or employees. You will only meet the restaurant staff and no one else. Check in is online, you get an app to open each door until you reach your room. I had no problem with this but maybe someone older would have

Just 5 min walk from Bergamo's old city main square and 5min from bus station or funicular station. Big room, very clean, with the best sheets and towels I have ever experienced in a hotel! City view room has windows to the old city's narrow streets. Lots of cafes and restaurants and bars in walking distance, soundproof windows, ambient atmosphere inside the room, amazing bathroom with rainforest shower and low light.

No reception made entry complicated. The central location was great, but we were awakened each morning by church bells from all the nearby churches. The air conditioning fan became very noisy, and we had to turn it off.

The room was very nice with an excellent bathroom. Bed and bedding were very comfortable. The Patisserie that was part of the hotel was fabulous, superb pastries and coffee for breakfast.

Check-in procedure. It is digital (great), but no one will help you onsite (communication through WhatsApp). Not a big deal and my issue was sorted (and it was partially my fault anyway), but it could be a problem in case some issue will happen.

you need to send a car license plates and your ID to a owner before arriving so that he can register your car to be able to get close to hotel, other wise you will get the ticket (video camera) there is no reception (bit struggle and bit fun because you need to down load app and then you can open the all the doors on your phone. we felt like we are in the escape room game :)

The only thing I didn’t like was having nowhere to leave my luggage after the (rather early) checkout time of 10am. The pasticceria downstairs wasn’t open at that time so I couldn’t ask them to keep the bag as they had done on the day I arrived.

I loved everything about it once I got into the room. Calm, relaxing tones. Tastefully done. Excellent shower and nice toiletries. The check in is a bit of a palaver with codes etc. but that’s because I’m old fashioned enough to prefer dealing with a person I can see. Nonetheless, the host was v responsive on WhatsApp. The location is perfect for visiting Bergamo Alta.

Over-priced as no breakfast included in the rate and for the same price charged could have stayed in a hotel for less money.

Central location in historic old town with large choice of beautiful bars and restaurants close by. Loved hearing the sounds of the various church bells peeling from our room - very atmospheric and a very romantic place to stay too. Highly recommend.

Locanda Cavour was an amazingly relaxing place to stay. Every little detail was thought of for their guests and was really appreciated. Everyone was very accommodating and courteous from start to finish. We can't wait to return!

I loved it ….but a warning if you book the room with the view at the top that there are stairs beyond the lift. The staff graciously carried my luggage but good to know if this is an issue for you. The entry/ check in instructions were a bit confusing JUST keep using the PIN they gave you and it opens all the doors.

The location is 20m from the main piazza with its stunning buildings. It’s in a very old medieval building that’s been nicely renovated. The patisserie next door is linked to the hotel and it’s amazing.

Check in process - it's a kind of disaster that nowadays staff asks for pictures of your passports or ID Cards for a check in! Yes, in theory there is another solution for that but it doesn't work in reality...

Extraordinaire! Location is excellent, close to funiculare or bus stop. Nice restaurants just few meters away, really nice room, modern, clean, comfortable! Just great!
