You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

JordanCan't accept to come early morning like 9 a.m., just to drop your bags and check in. The location is far about 20 min from the city centre. The host was only speaking italy.
I was on a vacation with my wife and looking for a double room, The room size: small, enough for 2 people, The bed was comfortable, and there were 2 additional single beds. Location: The hotel is conveniently situated within 300 meters of the metro station because of that we booked so next day our trip early morning. I can recommend this room for 1 or 2 nights, u can save good money compared to others.

GermanyThe only dislike was that when we arrived, tired and wanting to take a shower after a long trip, the light and fan of the room were being fixed and we had to wait there until it was done. Also, the owner or cleaning lady almost opened the door of our room at 9am while we were sleeping, just because she needed to grab the tv control. She was really nice and apologized, but this was very uncomfortable
The room was very big and comfortable with a private bathroom, and air conditioner and they changed our towers every day.

CanadaVery hard to communicate with the owner. I told them at what time i will be there but no one answered the door for 30min. You need to call them and you're lucky if she answers. When we left, my son forgot his backpack in the room and Lia doesn't want to send it to us saying she doesn't want any responsability. Isn't this your job kind of. A LOT OF RESPONSABILITY. Not a good human, you should not book with her as I heard other stories like that. There are other rooms in La Spezia. Ooooo, and BOOKING doesn't answer my messages. Skip booking.com if you can

ItalyI couldn’t get in to the room because I didn’t have any codes. I reached out to the managers only to get a passive aggressive response close to two hours later. I couldn’t wait two hours on the street alone with my bags so I had to find a new place to stay. Don’t think I got my money back for this place
