The room could be beautiful a few years ago, but now it needs some renovation. Our bed had a cracking noise, which did not let us have a deep sleep.

Although there are windows, there is barely natural light in the rooms.

The rooms are very clean, Alessandro is super nice and helpful. The bed is super comfortable, the shower and the water pressure very good. The location is excellent.

Great location close to Ortigia. Good breakfast in nearby cafe. Staff was extremely helpful, Will happily stay in this hotel if we ever find ourselves in Syracusa again.

Parking is impossible and we had to walk a good 5-10 mins with cases from the public pay and display car park. Top floor B&B with no lift which was hard with large cases.

The host was extremely helpful with information on where to find the attractions we wanted to visit and places to eat & drink in the city. He explained things very thoroughly about keys and access for our stay.

In our second night there was a washing machine making beeps every 10 second that drove us nuts. It stopped at around 00:30. Also, the hot water is limited

The place is really close to the city center. we got a lot of good advice from the boss of the suite, he was really nice and helpful. We loved the place so much that we spent 3 nights more that previous. i really recommend this place. After visiting many cities in Sicily I assure your that Syracuse and this hotel are the very best of my journey.

The stairs are steep and there is no one there full time at the reception.

If you want to feel like you live in Syracuse this is for you. Walk through a funky courtyard up 2 flights of stairs to check in. The host was nice and helped us find a good restaurant for dinner. It is just outside of Ortega so you can park on the street you just have to buy a ticket across the street to put in the car. The room was good and the shower was great.

The location was a bit noisy at times during the night because of traffic and bed sheets were once stained, but other than that all was good.

Everything was good, nice and clean, jacuzzi was amazing and very comfortable.

The man in charge of the place was extremely helpful with his reccomendations. He was very nice and he didnt mind that we were a bit late on our arrival. The bed was amazing and confortable, location was perfect, air condition too.... And the breakfast in Laura Duci. Coffee was SUPERBBB.

Parking very difficult especially in peak times. Had issues with the owner for check in which was postponed twice. From a planned 5.00pm check in he was not available until 8.15pm and this was the worst possible time to park your car. It took me another 40 minutes. Then one breakfast was cancelled because the cafeteria offering breakfast was not open. Owner refunded the cost.

Good location. 5 minutes walk from Ortigia. Clean rooms.

It's important to know that some of these photos are a bait-and-switch. You're not getting that white tablecloth stack of pancakes that they advertise in the photos. You're not getting eggs or bacon. You're going to an Italian cafe down the street where you're given up to €5 to spend, and this cafe had fewer options than your average Italian cafe (you can get a cornetto/croissant or savory pastry and a coffee and cup of water). I'd say skip the breakfast all together and go elsewhere. Their welcome note in the room also advertises refreshments and Prosecco in their minibar (as you can also see in the photos), but unfortunately, our fridge was empty and there are no glasses, just 2 paper cups. A bottle of refreshing water upon arrival would have been nice. We had a faulty sink plug that wouldn't drain (after some tinkering with the pipe underneath the sink, we did manage to fix it). The toilet paper handle was not fixed to the wall properly so each time we took toilet paper it would fall. Overall based on the photos I feel like I was not given accurate information to make an informed decision on the type of place I would have liked to stay in Siracusa.

The owner was very responsive and quick to arrive. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The location is very convenient and you can find parking nearby. The area and building feel safe and secure. The bathroom was clean.
