Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwedenThere is really nothing we did not like but there is always something that can be improved. If you indent on going skiing the day you check out then be aware of that you cannot shower when you come back to the hotel before leaving to the airport. You can change clothes but it would be nice to take a quick shower. The half board food was great and there is nothing really to complain about but some dishes lacked a bit of taste and love. We saw some guests ordering from the a la carte menu and it looked great.
A fantastic hotel in rustic alpine style in the center of the village. This means that you have access to some nice small shops just outside the hotel (and restaurants if needed). It is a couple of hundred meters to the ski lifts but the hotel has a great shuttle service that takes you there in less than 5 minutes. You just need to make sure you book a time slot with the reception. Our comfort room was large and with good storage. The beds were really comfortable and the staff rearranged the bedding to better suit me and my son. Nice large bathroom. The staff is absolutely top class, 10/10, everyone from the reception, the lady in the SPA, cleaners. Special thanks to the restaurant and bar staff who were super friendly, helpful and made the extra effort to make us feel at home. A special thanks also to the shuttle bus driver who had some minor issues with our long all mountain skis but managed it great. The SPA is also really nice with a sauna, steam bath, pool and a relaxation area after a full day of skiing. Again you need to book an hour time slot but that makes sure it does not get crowded. We would definitely consider staying here again if/when we come back to La Thuile.

SwitzerlandThe room size is a bit tight. Also the wellness area is ok but could be much better we thought the water in the pool was quite cold and there is not hot tub to relax the muscles. There is a sauna and turkish bath but also very small so it was almost always occupied. There is only 1 small room for massages and it is not very relaxing. One thing that was dissapointing was the new years dinner menu, we ate at the hotel 6 nights and it was always delicious but for new years it was not very good and mostly sea food and I asked if there was an alternative menu even a kids menu because I don't eat much sea food and there was no other option available and they charged 60 euros more for a dinner I unfortunately did not enjoy.
Le Miramonti was our house for 6 nights and we had the best time ever. It was our first time in La Thuile and our holiday was for taking skiing classes and celebrating new years. Le Miramonti was absolutely perfect for skiing because it has everything planned, first the breakfast is included and it is a very complete and delicious buffet, the coffee is the best and all the food is freshly made there, and then there is a shuttle service every 15 minutes that takes you directly to the slopes (also a storage in the parking lot for ski stuff) and they also pick you up at the slopes whenever you call so it was completely stress free! We chose half-board so the dinners were all included and it was simply marvellous having the most delicious italian food every night paired with great italian wines in the restaurant which is nicely decorated, the food by the chef Andrea is truly exceptional. Last but not least, we loved that Le Miramonti is pet friendly so Hugo our dog could accompany us to the holiday!

United KingdomInformation about booking services could have been made clearer on arrival, or a print out of the services and how to book them could have been left in the room. A lot of people (including us) thought the ski bus ran from the hotel every fifteen minutes and you just picked it up from the wooden hut outside. The booking system needs to be more clearly explained, so does the location of the ski room, it's difficult to find at first. More empty sockets in the rooms would be useful. We had to unplug lights to plug in our own items. A broader range of temperature settings available in the control on the room would be useful, instead of having to ask at reception to have the temperature set at a specific level. There was a horrible smell at the front door most days, like a septic tank, it rather spoiled the experience of arriving back after a day's skiing.
Check in went well and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and well prepared. Breakfasts were nice, though the scrambled egg was variable each day - still nice, but better some days than others. The 'spa'. We used the pool most evenings but the sauna and spa were closed for most of our stay - I don't like them anyway so it didn't bother me. The ski room and minibus service was brilliant once we'd realised how to properly use the facility.

We stayed at the Miramonti for a sk ing holiday. The hotel was excellent the service and staff exceptional. The hotel was warm and quiet and our room looked over the river towards the moutain. Lovely breakfasts, very friendly and helpful staff. The mini bus service to slopes was very welcome but we could have walked!. Pool and spa very welcome too. We would highly recommend staying at the Miramonti.

United KingdomThe food in the Hotel restaurant is very basic, we had a New Year's Eve dinner of 95eur per person and it was probably the worst dinner in Italy...The hotel is nice but the breakfast and dinner are terrible...
The hotel location is central, lots of restaurants around!

SwitzerlandStaff not helpful creatign a stressful atmosphere. It iwas the last free hotel available in the village, that should have made me think. Cannot recommend that, especially not for the premium price asked. I paid the price for two adults as shown by booking, they still tried to hit me with a supplement when arriving with only 1 adult and 1 child. I lost too much time off my vacation dealing with either unhelpful or possibly simply not competent front desk staff. When I book a good hotel I expect them to know how to make my life easier rather than harder during my vacation.
