The bathrooms are a little dated, and, probably due to the old building, soundproofing is not at its best, therefore you can hear various noises from the inner courtyard, other rooms, hallways, etc.

Hosted by a beautifully restored building, a former convent, the hotel is around the corner from the city center of Novara, a wonderful town that we enjoyed a lot. Our room was quite spacious, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, therefore quite comfortable for our family of 4. Reception staff was very accommodating, and having a large and secure parking lot in the inner courtyard was a bonus for us. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed during the weekend, so we didn't get to enjoy it, but its menu looked quite tempting, and, again, the location is gorgeous.

There was NO HEAT in the building. None. My room felt like about 57 or 58 degrees. The woman at the front desk at first said she would find out what she could do, not telling me that the heat was off until October 15, when the city would turn it on, but for me on October 11, that didn't mean much. I did get an extra blanket after asking a second time, which helped, though once out from under the blankets it was very chilly. Never been so cold in a hotel. No info on their web site or when I checked in. Only found out when I complained about being COLD. Also, the view from my window was not a courtyard, per se, but housed some covered area, for what I couldn't tell, but pretty ugly.

Location was good. Building courtyard was pretty cool. Parking on site was excellent. Breakfast was good.

Uncomfortable, very noisy portable aircon that floods the entire room during the night because you have to empty the bucket frequently.

The only issue is attempting to navigate a car in the narrow brick streets to get to the hotel and then pulling into the courtyard. But overall no other issues.

How often does a person get the opportunity to stay in a 16th century palace? Well this is a former palace, wonderfully clean and centrally located to the city center and many of the piazzas in Novara. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. It is a small hotel, which adds to the reason it is so quiet and peaceful. Our room overlooked the central courtyard and we opened the windows at night to enjoy the fresh air and evening sounds. We will definitely consider staying in this location again. The breakfast was perfect offering of Italian meats, yogurt, pastries, and breads.

I saw a cockroach in toilet. There was a wifi issue in Novara on Tuesday afternoon. But reception didn't message customer to inform this accident.

Our room was full of mosquitoes. The level of cleanliness was not good. There was noise all night. The window faces the hotel's parking lot and this adds noise. It was not a good value for the price. The bed was not comfortable

The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the centre of the city. The rooms are very clean and refurbished, the mattress very comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped. They offered us a bottle of water as well as tea and coffee inside the room. One big advantage is that the room was very warm.The breakfast was various and of good quality. Marco, the receptionist was more than polite and helpful!

Incredible hotel noise. Hard to sleep and relax as the corridor doors and room doors make so much noise and echo each time they are opened/closed.

Its such a historical building but my room was so standart/like a dorm room.
