The breakfast was all cakes and rolls. No eggs and little fruit

This was a perfect place since it was for one night and we were close to airport. The room was a nice size for 3 star Nice trattoria across the street

I have never stayed in a room with no wardrobes before. There was a rail 10 feet from the floor and a pole supplied to supposedly manoever clothes down. which was impossible. We paid for the de luxe double but the toilet was so close to the sink unit my husband could only pee by sitting down. The breakfast table kept running out of items but could only use the toaster as an alternative if we waited ages and had to use a fork to get the bread out. Had to repeatedly ask for cutlery to be brought. Also had to pay 3 euros each to use a pool towel for a hotel which uses its pool as a selling point.

Staff were quite friendly. Room was cleaned daily and sheets and towels were changed every 3 days. The pool area was very nice and the hotel was set in pretty grounds.

The area is a little run down. But the inside of the hotel is nice. The outside could do with being repainted. When we first arrived we thought we’d made a big mistake because of how the hotel looks from the outside. But when you go inside it’s very homely. The beds are fairly firm. But not unbearable.

The rooms were a decent size. It’s not a very large hotel. Quite warm atmosphere. Near to the beach. Literally across the road. You can see the sea if you get the right room. The grounds have little gardens and there are plants around. Staff were pleasant.

The staff during breakfast were too busy and didn't have much time for clients, but they were nice enough once you asked them for something. They were very busy with a wedding, so I guess they were a bit overloaded.

The pool was a great bonus and the kids loved it! The Polish receptionist was super helpful and Serena, the Argentinian lady at the bar was also very friendly! :))

Other than the beach, there is almost nothing within walking distance of the hotel.

The hotel is near the Catania Airport, which was our reason for choosing it, as we had to catch an early flight. The desk staff were very helpful in scheduling a taxi for us. We really enjoyed being able to sit outside our room to relax, and the beach was only a short walk away.

- near to the beach - nice swimming pool area - ok breakfast, mostly sweets. You can order English breakfast or eggs with ham and cheese - good coffee - we had an early flight, they prepared a small food package for us - near to the airport

we were told the room was in another building but it was like a basic annex and didn't feel very sturdy with a sliding wooden door. bit like being in a barracks but it was clean and well kitted out. ther was not an easy way to get back and forth when it rained

Access to the car park was extremely tight for the 8 seater van we had hired. The general external appearance of the hotel looked rather tired, needing some tlc. The water in the pool was a little chilly - we were there in mid September though.

Both rooms were rather small for 3 single beds but the en-suite shower rooms were generous in size and appeared to have been recently updated. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The Lido across the road had an excellent restaurant that we ate in each evening looking out over the large private beach. There were a generous number of sun beds and umbrella and the sand lovely and clean. A good selection of food was available at breakfast including omlettes cooked to order.

Bed was very firm and uncomfortable in my opinion, but I am used to beds on the US, I'm not sure how this compares to normal here. Shower was very small, had to open the door to wash my feet as I couldn't bend over within it's space.

Friendly staff, very helpful with finding the location after Uber dropped me off wrong. The property seemed very nice, I didn't try the breakfast or bar, I wish I had. The pool area looked beautiful. I'd like to stay here again but with a different room.

It was more complicated and more expensive than I thought to get a cab into Catania city center in the evening. Try Uber before engaging with Radio Taxi and other services. Other than that all good and very close to the airport. In the morning we were at Fontanarossa in less than 10 minutes and there are several petrol stations on the way if you need to fill your rental car.

We stayed for one night before flying back home from Catania. The stay exceeded my expectations based on some bad reviews I read before. Staff was nice and helpful and the pool is lovely. We did not try the beach but we're offered free access and lounges. Our room was in the first building in front of the reception and was large comfortable and clean.

Room was spacious but the sun was too much in the morning. The other rooms had black out curtains so I asked at the reception for them to put them in and they didn't (our stay was only 3 nights so we didn't bother ask again). The toilet seat was broken and we asked them to fix it but wasn't.

B'fast was good and room was spacious and comfortable, pool was lovely and convenient.

King bed was punishment for sleeping.

Air conditioner was great 👍 across from the beach. King Bed was like sleeping on a rock. Good breakfast, pool and service. Close to the airport. Enjoy!
