Checkin & out at a restaurant across the piazza. Fortunately I had someone to wait with my heavy suitcase, otherwise it would have been annoying.

Beautiful, modern decor juxtaposed in a historic building with wonderful views of surrounding church & over a piazza where, in the evening a summer play was held. Separate lounge area (on same floor) was appreciated by my daughter.

It is impossible to park near the hotel as you are in the old part of town and it is quite an uphill walk with luggage from the suggested parking near the harbour. The hallway of the accommodation is very scruffy - but don't let that put you off as it is very nice once you get upstairs.

Lovely breakfast on the roof terrace in the partner hotel next door. The hotel is in a great location in the middle of the old part of town. We had a room overlooking the small square with a lovely church outside - well worth a visit. Bed and room were very comfortable.

Tea and coffee down the corridor in a shared lounge area, not in the room.

Given it's location in the centre of Genoa, it's fabulous for the price. Maximum use of the double height ceilings by putting the bedroom over the bathroom, hence additional living space in the room, very chic and comfortable.

Fantastic location. Bars and restaurants close by. Within 10 mins walk of most major attractions Hotel uses the 24hr reception at the Palazzo Grillo a few feet away Room was spotlessly clean Staff were very friendly and really helpful Breakfast could be purchased at the Palazzo Grillo. At €18 it wasn't cheap, but the food was excellent, and the terrace was lovely

We were in room 3 and the total clothes storage for two of us for five nights was 5 coat hangers on a rack. There were no drawers at all!

Central location in the old town. Staff were very professional. Breakfast was great and eating on the terrace was lovely. Shower room was spacious and the shower great.

The neighbourhood is quite central which is amazing for the morning, but during the night some little streets around the hotel feel a bit unsafe.

Great rooms, with comfy beds and nice view!

Mattress is really (too much) soft so just know it if you do not like that kind of mattress

Good placement in the city, very central. Nice to have a small common place with water fountain tea and coffee. Great place for a short stay ! Lift appreciated as well

The room is rather cold. The hotel is situated in the historical center and you cannot access it by car. So be ready to walk 300 m with your bags. The reception lady told me they have a special service to help with the bags, so make sure you contact them in advance. Despite the area is beautiful, the small lanes are full of migrants and it is not safe to walk in the evenings. I had to ask my colleagues to help me to get to the hotel every evening. However, it is safe during the day.

Stunning hotel! The interior is fantastic, spacious room, comfortable bed. Amazing Breakfast! Located in a historical building of 15th century, you really feel the history there. I would come again.

Entrance to hotel room building was shared with some apartments and the elevator was ancient, even for Europe.

It had a unique style and location, generally only accessible by alleyways. Room was clean with a modern bathroom. Also had a super high ceiling. Really interesting!

The location of the hotel is in a bit of a seedy area. We didn't feel particularly safe walking around and witnessed a few strange characters that seemed to frequent the area. The hotel was very difficult to find even with GPS and is not well-marked. Additionally, the hotel should really consider a real coffee/espresso machine instead of the quick-mix coffee.

The room was beautiful and comfortable with a wonderful view. The hotel lobby and kitchen area with a water dispenser was great.

    Nothing.

The room was really big and comfortable. There is a Smart TV in the room too. In the common area, you will find occasional cookies and free water, tea, and coffee. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location is also very central and secure. Less than 5 minutes walk to major bus stations, metro and tourist destinations. We can't recommend this place enough!

Breakfast is not worth the money. The rooms have no fridge. Even if you put a sign “Do not disturb” they will still knock and even call from the reception to ask you when to clean the room.

The place is in a good location and clean.

A most minor criticism - mugs for tea as well as small coffee cups would be much appreciated by British guests

Great location in the old city. Terrific breakfast. Very helpful staff. Comfortable, spacious room with bedroom up on a mezzanine floor. Tea and coffee making facilities. Cakes in the afternoon. Fascinating building.
