The flat is gorgeous well stocked & well maintained, so much room inside and outside the property & with the added bonus of having gondolas pass our balcony windows - a stunning property in a perfect location. Owners were kind & attentive met us at the boat stop and helped with heavy bags and answered any questions straight away

Only one thing we did not like......having to leave to continue our travels.

This apartment is beautiful. It has an excellent location and a wonderful host. We had everything we could need. It is located on a canal. I had not expected the gondolas to be in the area. Within minutes of arrival, and with the window just opened, one floated past. My daughter called out and asked about singing. I told her that was an extra charge. On queue, the next one came and he was singing. We really knew we were in Venice. My fourth visit and finally made it to Burano. Loved it and everything about our stay in this beautiful apartment.

The apartment was more than we expected. Everything one needs is supplied, the position of the apartment is very close to the Vaporetto. It's on a small canal, and it's nice to watch the boats and gondolas pass by. Our host Roberto was very helpful, with help from the lovely Eugenia. A hidden little gem. Totally recommend La Levantina

Be aware of mosquitoes in the evening - right on a canal, so don't open windows or door in the evening if you don't want them to visit.

Great apartment, space, air conditioning washing machine, outside line , outdoor seating, quiet, fabulous location to waterbus and main Canareggio 'street'. Roberto was a great host - very helpful via WhatsApp. Pietro who met us and let us in was excellent too. If you catch waterbus to Marcuola, it is only one small bridge to take suitcases over.

That we couldn't stay longer!

The apartment was amazing! We loved how you entered from street level through a secure gate and had a whole private courtyard where we enjoyed meals together. The apartment was very tastefully decorated and had everything you could want. It was so special to back onto a canal with gondolas going past the loungeroom windows. Roberto was so quick and easy to communicate with and gave the kids a lovely book about Venice, which we will all treasure. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this accommodation.

Great apartment with lovely touches, very secure with gated entrance and garden. Was warm and comfortable with all you could possibly need.Arrangements for leaving luggage which was very handy very near restaurants bars and supermarkets but also private and quiet. The owner met us to hand over the keys and show us how everything worked. In advance he sent us the ferry time from the airport which was useful. He sent WhatsApp messages each day just to make sure we were ok.

It’s a beautiful apartment, lots of space. The bedrooms were comfortable and great shower. Nice big kitchen living rom to relax in. The location is super, just 15 mins walk from train and not far from St Marks square either. Our host was great, so so helpful. Excellent communication and booked restaurant for us. At our request on first night.

You need strenght in your heart to leave the keys and close the door behind you after your stay - everything was perfect.

This is one of the best places we've stayed in! Roberto was amazing - met us at the vaporetto stop, walked us to the apartment and let us check in way earlier than planned. The place is fantastic - the living room faces a small canal with gondolas passing and there is even a private garden - two steps from the street to Rialto, but very quiet and cozy and has everything you might need. Roberto gave us great recommendations on osterias nearby and was available and helpful throughout our stay. He even thought of a clever way to keep your bags secure and on the property after check out, so you can fully enjoy the last hours in Venice. We will definitely come back! What a wonderful clean apartment! Has everything you need and is in a perfect location. Very spacious with a large outdoor private area right on the canal. Owners were lovely and even picked us up from the train station on our arrival. Perfect.

The reasons including, the landlord Roberto is very friendly and give us enough information for how to arrive the apartment, the location is very convenient, the apartment is very clean, beautiful and comfortable, the space is big and also have a outside garden, all the things are enough for our needs. Absolute perfection. I can't think of a better spot to enjoy Venice. Watching the gondalas and boats go past the window whilst sipping an Aperol on the sofa was what you dream of for your Italian holiday. Our host met us at the closest boat and walked us to the flat. Having the private courtyard is an absolute priviledge. We found everything to be spotlessly clean and found all we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. There are two shops for food about 200meters down the street. If I have family and friends staying in Venice I will tell them to stay here at La Levantina. I hope to be back myself one day...

The bedrooms did not have AC units so the doors had to be left open to take advantage of the the main living area AC units. It was not a bother for us but for some it might be. The AC was sufficient to cool the bedroom to sleeping comfort. It was hot in Venice at the time and this really did not bother us...but the bedroom doors had to remain open.

Outstanding property. Eleonora met us at the train station and escorted us to the property. Zero stress and it was so appreciated. The property is canal level and you can chat with the gondoliers as they paddle by! Kitchen is fully stocked with all that is needed to make a meal. The AC was strong in the heat of the summer. The highlight of the property was the private courtyard. We began and ended our day out there enjoying great conversation.

Roberto, the owner, met us at the Marcuola dock on the Grand Canal. He was outstanding helping us with our luggage, walking with us to the property and helping us move in. Everything was perfect. He and the property exceeded our expectations. When we needed help with sheets for the sofa bed, he responded quickly. When we needed a replacement coffee pot, he brought one to us promptly. When one of our party turned up sick, Roberto went above and beyond in helping us connect with a video doctor and getting to the hospital. He even left his family on the beach to meet us when the ambulance arrived and helped us with translation. Throughout the remainder of our stay, he checked in on our well being multiple times. Roberto is the best host we have ever had. The property exceeded our expectations. We can't say enough to explain how satisfied we are with Roberto and La Levantina.

We stayed in May The host Roberto was very hospitable. He helped us with luggage and gave tips on everything. The home was so comfortable, everything you will need for your stay is there and it's fabulous to have the Gondolas pass as we sit in the living room. He even provided us umbrellas for rainy days. The location is perfect, very central and close to the San Marcuola stop. The home is clean and you have the courtyard and home to ourselves. A must stay!

La Levantina is within easy walking distance of Santa Lucia, perfect to get away from the tourist crowds and enjoy some peace and quiet. The courtyard is larger than expected, a great outdoor space to relax. Right on the canal, we loved watching the water traffic go by. A very comfortable two bedroom place. Roberto was a fabulous host. We would thoroughly recommend.

It’s in a nice little area, closer to the train station than St Mark’s square but we appreciated being able to walk everywhere. Roberto is probably the best host we have ever had and really made the trip extra special. He met us on our walk to help find the house, provided tons of great recommendations and was just generally very helpful! The house has a small but very efficient kitchen that had all we needed as well as a clean bathroom. Roberto had a stash of booties and umbrellas on hand when it started raining, and a handy storage place to hold our bags after check out. We didn’t get to use the outside dining table due to the rain, but I would have been out there every day in better weather!
