Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaWe can actually say, there was nothing about this hotel that we didn't like.
We had a most enjoyable 6 nigh stay. The room was comfy and well presented, that is, very clean and tidy. The cleaning staff were fantastic and even if we had a latish departure we can back to find the room had been cleaned. The location of the hotel is fantastic and our initially concerned that the noise from the piazza would be intrusive in fact turned out to be not a problem. The secure parking provided, at a charge, is located close to the hotel and is very convenient in terms of accessing the car when heading out on day trips. We enjoyed our stay and certainly would rebook this hotel should we be back that way again.

CyprusToo expensive; not value for money. The heating system made a very disturbing noise. (I had a sleepless first night.) I reported this to the room staff but finally had to go and report and get someone to fix it from reception myself.

Location is everything and exceedingly cheap for the price you pay considering you are in Lake Como. We love the people from the reception and cafe too! They are very approachable.

United KingdomBreakfast was expensive, and it was a shame guests here can’t use the facilities at parent Hotel du Lac. We’d definitely return though.
The location was perfect - just off the main square with a view to the lake. The room was a perfect size: we had a family room with an unusually stylish bunk bed in one room, then a large separate room with double bed leading off. Both opened onto a little balcony that was the perfect place to enjoy croissants from the incredible local bakery.

CanadaCheck in was a bit confusing, especially with parking. We had to park in the town (not easy) and walk to the hotel before we could figure out how to check in and where to park. Some instructions prior to arrival would have been helpful.
The balcony had an exceptional view over the lake and nearby mountains. The apartment is right in the heart of Menaggio.
