Andrea and Sabrina are the perfect hosts. This is by far one of the most memorable places I’ve ever stayed. It’s absolutely amazing. The property is steeped in family history. The surround area is fantastic, quiet and great for those long dog walks. It’s a perfect spot to relax, enjoy the pool and really get a feel for traditional Italian life. Andrea is always on hand to recommend restaurants or places to visit and even called a restaurant for us to check if they allow dogs. Our dog was in his element surrounded by the owners dogs and playing in the garden each day. We loved this place so much. Andrea and Sabrina are the nicest people. Thankyou for making our stay in Modena the best.

Gorgeous property, lovely decor, stunning surroundings. We absolutely loved our hosts, couldn’t do enough for us - from dropping us in Modena for dinner to providing bikes to explore the nature reserve and making excellent restaurant recommendations - they really made the trip for us.

Beautiful grounds, garden, and pool, very well maintained. The owners were very hospitable with an early check-in for us. Gave us great suggestions on local things to do and places to eat. Our room was very spacious and comfortable with all the amenities we needed.

What an absolute delight. The owners, Andrea and Sabrina, are absolute angels. They were so welcoming and we truly felt like we were staying with family. We loved getting to spend time out in the countryside in total relaxation. The property is right on a bike path which we used to explore the lakes nearby and also the beautiful vineyards proximal to the property. Andrea even drew us a map to get around and gave us lots of recommendations for where to go and eat. Also, we loved being around their sweet and adorable doggies. If you want to have the best stay with the most warm people in the world and memories to last a lifetime, you can’t miss staying at Casa di Valeria.

Sabrina and Andrea were great hosts and made us very welcome. The weather was fantastic and the pool was available to use. The property has access to a hiking area around some lakes, about 6km walk

I stayed here with my wife, and had such a fantastic time. The location is beautiful with a lovely garden & two beautiful dogs always there to greet you happily. Our host Andrea always made sure we were having fun. He helped us find places to eat and things to do, and was always keen for a chat. We learn so much about the region just from talking with him. The pool was fantastic especially as it was super hot while we were there.

The B&B feels homely, however, within this price range, apartments are usually more modern and luxurious in terms of space including bathroom, quality of the bed, other furniture, decoration etc. Breakfast was cheap, but simple. Andrea’s scrambled eggs were lovely though.

We loved Sabrina and Andrea, the location close to cycling paths and walks and the friendliness to dogs. Initially we had a very small room with two people and two dogs, luckily we were allowed to change to a larger room after one night.

Very comfortable and extremely clean room with good air conditioning. Breakfast was good and the pool was a nice addition to our stay. The hosts, Andrea and Sabrina were just lovely! Make sure you ask for eggs at breakfast as they are as fresh as they come!

Andrea is incredibly friendly, very chatty and makes you feel very at ease. He understands when guests want to chat and when they don’t making the time spent at the hotel very comfortable. Andrea also was able to recommend an excellent beach for us to visit and when we checked in late- put some of his own food on for us to make sure we weren’t hungry.

Bugs in the outside areas. But this is in the country and has to be expected. In summer bring mosquito repellent.

The location is a few minutes outside Modena near the Modena Sud freeway exit, in a quiet rural area. It’s been recently renovated and has a beautiful pool and access to miles of biking/walking trails. Hosts Sabrina and Andrea are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Monday nights musical/theater entertainment from local artists was a pleasant surprise. Resident puppies Nina and Allegra are the icing on the cake.

Everything. The location is enchanted. The room welcoming and sparkling clean. It feels like home: it's safe, beautiful and inspiring. La Casa di Valeria is a nest of culture and relax. The hosts Sabrina and Andrea are kind and extremely friendly and thoughtful, ready with suggestions about how to enjoy your staying the most and they organise so many activities and events: concerts, walks in the countryside or cycling excursions ... I'm very looking forward my next staying ❤️✨

Lovely place with great hosts. It's like staying with your family. The hosts are super friendly, make cake for breakfast, and have their lovely pups on the grounds too. We stayed there as we had a restaurant booking in the city of Modena, which was about 15 minute drive away, so we spent our days by the pool, walking the area and relaxing. You can rent bikes and they often organise musical events too which is nice!
