Just a short walk from the centre, spacious room & powerful shower, staff were very friendly & informative, bed was comfortable and hotel is nicely decorated. Breakfast was buffet with everything on offer, beautiful views from the terrace for breakfast. Free parking & swimming pool

Loved the location which looked out over the Bay of Naples towards Vesuvius. Walk back from town is uphill so might not suit everyone...we didn't mind it though.

Great setting and nice breakfast lots of variety, great restaurant staff. Room was dated but traditional in keeping with the hotel, outstanding surroundings and even better view. A very relaxing place to stay, with the bonus of a lovely pool area.

Fantastic location with breathtaking views from all terraces the hotel has to offer. Beautiful pool area. Really quiet and peaceful. The staff were absolutely amazing and went over and beyond to help in any way possible. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting sorrento and will definitely be returning in the future.

It was a little out of the way to get to the port which made it more costly.

This hotel is high up the hills, giving a 360 view vantage, the transport is plenty (bus/taxi) but the walk back up although easy, in the heat it can feel grueling maybe for people with good fitness and mobility only for the up hill.

The views amazing, little family owned hotel who couldn't do enough to make out stay perfect. The care taken to the surrounding areas of the hotel was beautiful, breakfast was plenty and tasty for continental. We would definitely think about a return visit. We had a window view from our room. However the hotel as a balcony on the first floor perfect for evening drinks. Excellent value for money.

We loved this hotel, it was in a beautiful position and was so quiet. It was quite a walk to the main town, downhill on the way there and quite steeply up on the way back. We were absolutely fine walking, but older guests chose to catch the bus back. The staff were really lovely and the view from the restaurant was stunning. We would definitely go back.

Can't really find anything to complain about... The walk up to the hotel is tough in hot weather, so we chose taxi which cost round 25€. But the view compared to the hotels closer to the town is absolutely worth it, and it was such a heavenly feeling each time we entered our cool AC room!

The view over the bay was outstanding! Restaurant and pool area spaceous and welcoming. The size of the room and its terrace were larger than expected. Air-conditioning was perfect. The staff was very friendly. We also appreciated the tip from the receptionist about the airport shuttle from Sorrento Station, which cost only 13 €

The setting and views were beautiful, the hotel is a bit out of town so it was nice to go back to the peace after the July crowds of Sorrento and surrounding Amalfi towns. We hired a car and had no trouble finding car parking in one of the numerous car parks in Sorrento although you could walk to and from Sorrento but in the heat it is a hard walk back up hill. We stayed in room 33 and it was what you would expect from a 3 star hotel, a bit dated, but comfortable, however it was very spacious and the balcony was really big with two chairs and a table as well as 2 sun loungers with a lovely sea view. The breakfast was basic, tea/coffee, cartons of juice, yogurt, cereal, fruit, pastries, toast and some cheese & meats, there is a lovely view from the terrace while you eat. We didn't have any other meals so can't comment on lunch or dinner. The pool area was lovely and staff were attentive bringing drinks from the bar. All of the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful and able to answer any questions we had about the local area.

Be prepared for a lot of walking to and from town. The hotels private path is helpful.

Charming, comfortable villa-style hotel on large garden property with pool and stunning views from restaurant, balconeys and rooftop terrace. Room very spacious and comfortable. Restaurant was lovely and all staff very friendly and helpful. Visited affiliated hotel’s private beach club nearby. A great experience.

Excellent. The staff were lovely. My daughter was ill and Raffaele brought her tea and crackers. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was sparkling. We found the walk down the path to town very easy and gave one a great view of Sorrento en route

Not necessarily dislikes but things to be aware of. The breakfast is continental, so no cooked breakfast. We found this was very much the norm in Italy and La Badia offered us the best continental we had in two weeks travelling around Italy. There is also a bit of an uphill walk back to the hotel from town - but that’s the payoff for the amazing views.

Beautiful boutique hotel. The views are stunning as is the hotel itself. Staff were so warm and friendly, everywhere is lovely and clean and the food we had there was tasty. We stayed in a room with just a window (no balcony) but as we were in Sorrento for a wedding we weren’t in our room much.

The property is extremely high in the city however this is worth every step for the view

The staff were amazing, they made the whole trip more amazing as expected. The team were extremely attentive and remembered each conversation and names which made the trip feel important to them.
