Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyThe Kondo was very mondern and central. We loved the little balcony, sipping Espresso and soaking in the morning sun. Everything was so close. Simone one of our hosts already got in touch before traveling. He was ever so helpful and quick to answer even the smallest questions! Everything was so convenient! We would always love to come back.

United StatesWow, where do I even start with this place? First off, the vibe of the apartment was just spot on. It was super comfy and had this cool rustic feel that I loved. The location was awesome, too. It was tucked away in a quiet spot but still super close to all the action in downtown Catania (less than 2 mins walking). I was really throw away. Inside, the place was neat as a pin. The kitchen had everything I needed to whip up meals, which was a huge plus. The host even had a bunch of local ingredients waiting for me when I arrived, which was a sweet touch. And speaking of the host, they were really something else. Always there when you needed them, full of tips about where to eat and what to see, but also respectful of my space. To be totally honest, I've been racking my brains trying to think of something I didn't like, and I'm coming up blank. The place was just that good. The host was on top of everything, and it felt like they really cared about making sure I had the best time possible.

AustraliaThere were two things I didn't like, which may not be an issue for everyone. The first was the check-in process is un-manned and there is no physical key. You are given a link to a website which you can use to open the building and apartment door. This means you need an internet connection. Failing that you can call the host and they can let you in remotely. If you are from overseas, you need to be roaming/have a local sim AND make sure your phone has enough battery. At the end of a long day, having enough battery is something I always struggle with. The second thing I didn't like was the area of Catania the apartment in didn't feel safe after 10pm. However I would stress this is just a feeling I had and may not be a reflection of reality so take my second comment with a grain of salt.
Excellent service from the staff. They were really accommodating to my needs. They contacted me via WhatsApp immediately after the booking was made and I was able to get quick answers to any questions I had or needs I needed met. They also upgraded my room for free. Location was within a short walk of everything worth seeing.

United KingdomThe entrance to apartment 3 is super tight, there are also no windows apart from in the bathroom so it’s feels really dark. There are also no curtains on the doors so there is a lot of light that gets in when you are trying to sleep. The fridge made a lot of noise also
The property was super clean and had a really nice modern design. The location was great for bars and main shopping street.
