Beds were a bit hard and the pool a bit cold, might have something to do with being October.

This place is fantastic. Friendly and helpful staff, gorgeous location at the countryside. Very clean and neat. Surroundings are so peaceful and quiet.

Lack of basic provisions - salt , pepper etc Had to ask for Toilet roll - but it was given with no fuss Lack of anti mosquito coils and plug ins etc Had to wash our towels - but laundry facility was free of charge - time to wash etc took time out of family holiday time .

The location was perfect . Nestled in the rolling Tuscan Hills, between Florence and Siena. It offered quiet tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the busy tourist centers. The staff were great - very friendly and helpful, always willing to help ! The A/C was super efficient and very welcome due to the extraordinary heat outside .

The estate is absolutely beautiful and so well thought-out and well maintained. You can have all the privacy you want as all the apartments have their own private outdoor spaces and oatgs leading to communal areas but you can also socialise at the gorgeous salt water swimming pool and restaurant with stunning views of the valley where they organise dinners for guests on Sundays and Thursdays. We stayed in D’Annunzio apartment and loved it: it’s right at the top and very private. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Sara and Asia were very welcoming. Our daughter loved the playground, the tennis court, ping pong table and walking around the estate. A beautiful holiday place in Tuscany with easy access to popular towns.

This is a beautiful property is a great location in the heart of Tuscany! We stayed in a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa which was amazing. It had a wonderful kitchen where we cooked a few meals, a great patio and was a short walk to the resort's pool. There was no washer and dryer in the unit, but there was a shared laundry not far from our unit which was free to use and provided laundry soap. They offered a breakfast which was delivered to your door for 16 euros per couple. It was a wonderful breakfast. We did day trips to Siena, Pisa, and San Gimignano, which were each under an hour's drive from the resort. There was a COOP grocery store in Montaione, only a 5 minute drive from the property, which was very convenient to pick up groceries. Highly recommend this fantastic property!

Everything about Il Torrino Country Resort was absolutely AMAZING!!! I cannot recommend this resort highly enough! The location was perfect, it was secluded, we had our own little private space outside, plus it had a fireplace, dishwasher, full kitchen and a comfortable bed! The room was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated too! You can tell the owner truly cares about the comfort of his guests. Not to mention the price was extremely reasonable. Our friends were staying at another much more expensive resort, yet I preferred Il Torrino over their place. Also, Sara, who helped us check in and took care of us during our stay, was wonderful!!!! She was very responsive and was very quick to answer any questions we had and wanted to make sure our stay there was perfect!!! I would give this resort 10 stars if I could!!!

Montaione is a bit far from the 'to see' villages of Tuscany but the resort makes up for it in calmness and beauty. The town leaves a lot to be desired.. don't expect good choices for dinner or drinks. There is small supermarket in Montaione but I suggest you stock up on supplies before you arrive to the village.

We stayed in Magifico. It was amazing. Clean, cosy and cute.. exactly what you expect from a Tuscan cottage. Staff was super helpful and polite. Did not try the restaurant but heard good reviews from other guests. The cottage itself is fully equipped.
