Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Austria-
We stayed at I Trulli della NaturaBio for 8 nights at the beginning of September. It is truly a beautiful place for an extended stay, offering everything one could wish for. The Trulli is lovingly renovated and furnished, and living in such an atmosphere is quite extraordinary. The beautiful and large terrace is particularly noteworthy; it’s a cozy place to live, and if it gets too hot, you can cool off in the very clean swimming pool. The accommodation is idyllically nestled in an old cultural landscape among vineyards, olive trees, prickly pears, and much more. Our 3-year-old daughter had a great time discovering all of this, and she was never bored. The proximity to Martina Franca is also advantageous, where you can find supermarkets, good restaurants, bars, and much more. In general, I must say that Martina Franca was probably the most authentic southern Italian city on our trip through Apulia. I would like to extend a special thanks to our host and his family, who were always very attentive to us. We received home-grown and produced food, and we also got a personal lesson on how to properly open prickly pears, as we had some trouble with that 😊 The host was always helpful with ideas for day trips, good restaurants, and beautiful beaches on both coasts. I can warmly recommend this accommodation with its beautiful garden and pool. The sunsets on the terrace with my family and a good local red wine will remain in our memories for a long time. Thank you, Danny!

LatviaEverything was fantastic
The best place in all of our trip to Italy. Because of the host! He welcomed us very warmly and showed around his property and was very helpful. There is a bio fruit garden around the house and it is a very quite and relaxing environment. The house was clean and comfortable, and we had everything we needed.

United StatesLow archways could be a concern if you’re tall! We got used to ducking. Wifi wasn’t always reliable… probably not the best place to work remotely from.
Lovely, countryside Trulli with incredible host. The trulli is surrounded by olive groves and has a pool, which is beautiful to walk out to each morning. Our host made us homemade Italian breakfasts each day. The house itself is well stocked with everything you’d need for cooking and the grounds are lovely to relax on, with two friendly dogs! Everything was super clean and well maintained. It’s about 10 mins to Martina Franca by car.

United KingdomNothing - it was perfect!
Our stay at I Trulli della Natura Bio was an unforgettable experience. If you are looking for a peaceful place to bring you closer to nature, and to re-set your rhythm to a super-chilled vibe, this is it. We spent spent a wonderful week here in August and we were very sad to leave. Daniel and his family were so warm and welcoming and very generous with organic produce from the farm – melon, honey, figs, almonds, tomatoes – it was a pleasure and a privilege to eat food so delicious and fresh from the land. The Trulli was immaculately clean, well decorated with very comfortable beds. Our boys aged 11 and 10 loved the huge swimming pool, and we all enjoyed many games of ping pong in the evenings. Do not hesitate to book this place, it is very special. Thank you Daniel - we hope to visit again one day.

We stayed for 4 nights and we didn't want to leave. The trullo/house is in perfect conditions, with everything you might need. The swimming pool is large and private. Daniele, our host, was very helpful with his recommendations and very kind with the fruit, vegetables, wine and other things he offered us. We definitely are going to be back.

We had access to the garden with all seasonal fruits ! You can buy fresh cheeese /milk eggs from surrounding farm. The owner helped even with small car repair !

GermanyThat we had to leave again.
Staying there is like coming home. Every detail reflects the warmth and love for nature that Daniele represents. You become a part of his carefully created paradise if you are open to the tranquility and dive into the knowledge he is readily willing to share. The house has been refurbished in the Trulli style and is lovely decorated. You will find everything you need and more. And dog lovers beware: his 2 'boys' will knock you over with affection. Like it or not, you will fall for all of it.

United StatesDaniele invited us to tell him if there was anything we needed. But he had already thought of everything, so we had nothing to complain about.
If you've never stayed in a Trullo before, this is where you should go to try it. Our room was actually a whole house. It's situated in the countryside on a working farm, the produce of which you will get to sample. Daniele, the host, is endlessly interesting and can tell you in detail about the workings of his farm from bee hives to the long rows of olive trees. Don't miss trying his excellent honey. I can't say enough good things about our stay.
