We loved everything

Could not recommend this hotel more highly. Perfectly located, excellent value and the view!!!!! On equal footing to the view are the staff. Every person we met was lovely, welcoming and went over and above to offer support. We don't have children but could see how warm and welcoming everyone was to families. We were extremely sad to leave and wouldn't hesitate to go back. Perfect!

The food at the little pool bar was incredible with specials everyday. The best prawn linguine. Unexpected and amazing. The location is stunning and the staff were so lovely.

The hotel would not be ideal for people with mobility issues, because the hotel is located on sloped ground. This was not an issue for us, but could be for others. It does allow great views of the sea!

The staff were just so lovely and kind. My son is coeliac and they gave him gluten free pasta, bread and croissants, and looked after him so well. They made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. I couldn't praise the staff highly enough. The location is beautiful and views spectacular. Overall it is just such a lovely, relaxing location. I loved the way that most of the rooms open directly into the tiled terraces and the way that the hotel has flowers growing on every terrace. The food is amazing too!

The property has the most incredible view and has wonderful friendly staff. The whole site is very clean and welcoming. It’s a 10 min walk to Ischia ponte and a shuttle was available to pick us up and bring us back to the hotel very night. It’s our second visit to this hotel (which is a rarity for us to repeat visits) and it’s even better than last time. One of the best hotels we have stayed at in Italy!

Would be nice if the sauna was also opened in the morning rather than just before 6-8.

The staff was really lovely, especially Gennaro that served at the breakfast buffet. He was always very smiley and kind, and definitely made the experience a lot better! The buffet was really good too, with a big variety of foods from savoury (bacon,eggs, ham,etc) to sweet (croissants, fruit, yogurts, homemade cakes, cereal). The pool and the relax areas were very nice and comfortable, with a lively view of the Castle and Bridge. Great location and experience overall! Great quality to price ratio! We will definitely come back!!

Ants in our room which were a bit annoying. Room was a bit small - we did choose economy room but had to move the wardrobe as it couldn't open due to proximity to bedside table.

Staff were super friendly and helpful, view of the castle was beautiful, pools and facilities were fantastic, breakfast was delicious, not a long walk down to the castle/ponte d'Ischia and lots of bus options to get to other areas on the island (bus tickets can be purchased at reception). Also air con or heating available in room.

I believe should be opened all year around. I am sure people would be so happy to be in a such hidden OASI during cold times with its amazing pools and the sauna that the Hotel Parco Cartaromana offers. Everything there was perfect. Please stay authentic.

I loved the whole stay. Everyone and everything was super. I will definitely pass on the experience that I had, it exceeded my expection and I am really pleased to know places like HOTEL PARCO CARTAROMANA exists. Hotel Parco Cartaromana place is a picturesque hotel overlooking the ARAGONESE CASTLE & Sant' Anna rocks. It's view is amazing, the pools are great, sauna and the staff is super extra friendly and really helpful. I highly recommend to stay here. Thanks to all made my experience wonderful.

As the island is hilly the hotel is also built on a hill. It's easy to reach via car or taxi although some of the hotel rooms are on a steep slope, which is worth knowing when booking.

A perfect location. Everything about this hotel was amazing. The rooms are basic but lovely, they are cleaned every day. All the staff were lovely. The view of the sea and Castle make it a really special place. We will definitely visit again. There are great disabled facilities by the top pool.

This is just for info for someone considering to book the hotel, as it's not the minus per se, but good to know: Ischia is very hilly, and the hotel is on the hill, so won't be suitable for people with walking difficulties. Although the Ischia Ponte or Porto look really close on the map, in reality going back to the hotel it's a bit challenging walk towards the steep street, especially in the summer heat - however, the bus connection is good (although once an hour) and the hotel also offers free transfers between 9 and 12 pm.

Absolutely amazing! The stay exceeded all expectations. Room spacious and cozy, with the huge terrace. Gorgeous views from everywhere in the hotel, as it's on the hill. Super large and deep pool, perfect for swimming. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Cleanliness exceptional and provided every day, housekeeping does a great job. Bus stop just in front of the hotel, good connection to all parts of the island, no car needed. Best views on the island! Ischia Ponte and the castle 8min away by foot. Please don't make prices higher, as I hope to come back!:)

We found the bed a little on the hard side for our liking. Breakfast was buffet style with hot and continental options but served by the staff which we found a little odd at first but soon got used to this.

The hotel is situated a little out of town at the top of a steep hill but this had the benefit of providing stunning views over Ischia ponte and the monastery. The hotel has no less than 3 swimming pools, together with a sauna and there were more than enough sunbeds to go round. We had breakfast every day, together with 2 evening meals which were of good quality and value. All the staff were friendly and helpful at all times and the hotel arranged to store our valuables in their safe. The room was exceptionally clean, spacious and the towels were changed each day. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus into town between 9 p.m. and midnight each day and we were able to use this on 2-3 occasions without any problems and it is a welcome bonus.
