The staff were wonderful and very accommodating. The fire in the bar was a beautiful feature and pizzas were very tasty as well as a great variety of breakfast items, hot and cold. The room was lovely. It would have been nice to have a double bed instead of 2x single beds as we were a couple but it would not stop us staying again. It is such a great place.

Good location dinner & breakfast We were interested to visit Stevio Pass, this hotel is in perfect location, right at the top of the pass. The hosts were so helpful and really care for guests. If I have an opportunity to visit again, will stay in the same hotel.

The decor in the corridors and rooms was very poor - gym at the top of the stairs that looked like it was from the 80's - trip hazard as the corridor starts - fairly disorganised check in and out - breakfast was ok but was scattered all over the place

The combination of hotel, bar and restaurant is decent, clean, and has a good, helpful staff. Its location on the summit of the Stelvio pass allows for early start hikes in the high Alpine environment (before people from the valley come up).

There were some noisy ski school kids staying in the room opposite ours, but they seemed to tire out pretty quickly.

This place has character oozing from the walls. Don't expect flashy luxury but count on clean and basic functionality. What you'll most enjoy though, are the hysterical twins and their mother who run the place. The food in the restaurant was great and the bar is a hoot, mostly due to the wonderful ladies running the show. Beats TV, that's for sure.

There wasn't anything we didnt like!

This hotel is in a unique position at the top of the Stelvio Pass - one of just a small number of hotels in this location. The room was fairly basic and not that big but had everything you needed and was nice and clean and the bed lovely and comfortable. The view from our room was stunning too! We enjoyed a beer in the bar when we arrived then a meal in the restaurant in the evening. We struggled a bit with the menu as didnt recognise a lot of the dishes and they were hard to translate into English and the staff didn't speak a great deal of English and we don't speak much Italian! We were recommended some dishes and just went with it and enjoyed everything very much! Our meal was included in the cost of our room. The breakfast in the morning was all fresh and lovely with cold meats, breads, eggs, cereal, fresh fruit salad and yogurt etc. This is a family run hotel and everyone was very welcoming and friendly, even with the language barrier. If you get the chance to stay at the top of the Stelvio Pass do so as it's an amazing location!

Italian power sockets need an adapter but this was provided by the hotel. Kettle provided in the room, but better tea / coffee supplies would have been welcome.

Fantastic location at the top of the pass at over 9,000 feet and within 5mins walk of the bottom of the cable car. Very Italian, little English spoken. Food local and interesting - good value. Plenty of free parking available. interesting walking from the hotel. saw a golden eagle during the visit. Skiing fraternity added a bit of buzz.

Good family run hotel right on top of Stelvio Pass, although it is quite old it is clean and cosy. I have traveled alone and spend a good time in front of fireplace at evening!

Fabulous location at the top of the Stelvio Pass. Ample car parking spaces outside. The room was quite small and although a little bit dated it was nicely furnished. Staff were very nice and the breakfast excellent. Lovely open fire in the bar area in the evening. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed over night spontaneously after realizing the absolute highlights around Stelvio pass with several hiking routs in the mountains even over 3000m. The room and bath were extremely clean, superb breakfast. Recommend to all who want to be alone in the mountains and still sleep in a very comfy place in the night!
