No cups in the room, would have been useful even to have a couple of paper cups as there was a fridge for drinks. No safe in our room.

Short walk to a lovely viewpoint nearby with a couple of bars. Around 20 minute walk into Sorrento itself, which was fine for us as we wanted somewhere with free parking included. Rooms are basic but clean, and the shower was good. Staff were helpful with what to do nearby. We did a day trip to Pompeii, its around 15-20 minutes walk to train station, and the train itself takes about 40 minutes to get to Pompeii.

Myself and my wife enjoyed everything about the hotel. Just what we needed for some R&R:-)

Good location, good sized room(114) & terrace/balcony. Breakfast was really good & meals for dinner reasonably priced (we hadn’t gone half board so ate in only twice)the meals were excellent. Swimming pool was clean & great to cool off in after sunbathing on the plentiful sun beds. All the staff were extremely helpful & polite.

there were building workers within a distance that I could hear the digger working, and the beep, beep, beep, every time it moved at 05:00 Monday morning. then also the customary rubbish collection before 6:00am. Mot Hotel’s but still ruined my sleep 💤

Pool open only 9am to 7pm - missed possibility to use it in the morning or once returned to the hotel. A bit fare from the center for walking to the center several times per day.

Breakfast - missed fresh salad - tomatoes at least. The room was ok - modern, clean, nice, and good air conditioning. The hotel garden was very nice.

Rooms looked amazing, but we opted for the courtyard view and instead got a view facing the street and the opposite hotel which was not great. Also the walls to the rooms or so thin. We could hear people speaking outside and there was drilling thay woke us up one morning.

Fantastic breakfast and fantastic swimming pool. I loved that the bar was right next to the pool too. Great views depending on what room you get.

Very friendly staff, did everything they could to check me in early and upgraded my room. All staff are local so very knowledgeable about the area. For the Gluten Free out there they had a small breakfast selection.

The staff were so helpful. We were part of a large group in Sorrento for a wedding and despite several covid postponements, the hotel honoured our booking. They responded very quickly to any communication prior to our arrival and were very accomodating once we arrived. All the staff were great and all made a big effort with our 15 month old baby, singing and talking to him every morning at breakfast. We can't thank them enough. Would definitely recommend to friends and would stay again when we come back to Sorrento!

We had stayed in Sorrento for two nights before we checked into this hotel. we decided to check out of our previous hotel a day early because the pool was closed and room was disgusting. really good decision. hotel Florida was so clean and modern and had great facilities. the pool area was beautiful and staff so friendly and helpful. only a 10-15 min walk from the main area as well. disappointed that we only stayed here for 1 out of our 3 nights. definitely recommend.

The Hotel advertised a gluten free breakfast...all they had was a bit of gluten free bread & manky looking cornflakes. Fortunately there was melon most days, which was naturally gluten free. The breakfast was very repetitive, the scrambled eggs were cold most days. I had to ask for the bedding to be changed during the holiday & the message took a long time to be passed on. The floor of the room wasn't cleaned properly most days. If you asked the staff for anything they didn't seem to like it, some of the staff weren't friendly, almost rude & a bit up themselves. It actually felt like the staff did as little as possible for guests apart from, Mikael was helpful when I needed to change rooms, Serena was nice. Aldo the handyman was friendly. Roberto, Sara & Angelo were nice. Elvira the housekeeper was nice. There is no lift. No kettle in the room. The only Hotel I've ever stayed at before without drinks facilities in the room was Egypt in 2010 & they had a drinks facility in reception... You get one little bottle of water each on arrival & thats it for the whole week & there are no shops nearby, the water you can buy from the bar is a silly little bottle too... I was in Albania last month & even there you got a fresh bottle of water every day.

Staff not very welcoming, no basic facilities for making tea or coffee in the room, bathroom door lock was broken and I and my son were locked inside the bathroom once. This was fixed only on the next day, emergency cord in the bathroom was muted which is very serious in an emergency, I have to raise this as a doctor. The reception had informed the amended timing of my taxi back to Naples at the last minute only on inquiring despite telling them 2 days in advance. The food served to the group who had booked half board was inadequate with limited menu and not upto the standards. I would never return to this property with my family again.

Argumentative male front desk person needs to learn how to talk to all guests. Extra firm beds had me taking ibuprofen for days after from bed sores. The breakfast is mediocre and the staff down there ALSO need to learn how to talk to ALL guests.

The location is a bit far out from the main street in Sorrento. We had a double buggy with us and the footpaths were narrow and the roads are very dangerous in places. It was a 23min walk, maybe it would have been fine if we were travelling as a couple. The air con was very weak in the room, I didn't realise it wasn't working properly until I was asked. It was fixed for our last night and it was much more comfortable. So going forward, this shouldn't be an issue. As I said, the food was lovely but the restaurant closes in the afternoon and doesn't serve food again until 7pm. Maybe this would be fine for most but with young children we had to get take away lunches and ask for them to be heated as they're used to eating earlier.

We stayed here for 8 nights when getting married in Sorrento. There was confusion over the room size when we arrived but the hotel offered us a larger room. The bar and pool area was lovely, as was the food. The breakfast was okay; more variety in the hot food would have been nice.

The breakfast was poor, for the ‘hot food the only selection was eggs baked together and left to congeal. In 4 days I never saw the hot food selection change. On one out of 4 days there were croissants; there was basically cake, cold meat, yoghurt and toast. At least they made your coffee fresh to order. I’d eat breakfast out in a cafe had I known.

The room was fresh and modern. The bed was comfy.
