The property being an old one, is dilapidated. The floors squeaky, doors cry out loud more than in a horror movie. Our bathroom door didn't have a latch to close from the inside so make sure you can sing a song while being inside. Also, I will not recommend 7€ breakfast at the property, rather just go out to central market 10 mins away and enjoy a great schiacciata/panini.

The staff is courteous and friendly, cleaning staff is impeccable and prudent, and the location is perfect!

Bathroom was long and narrow. Bit strange re the shower. The fold around door does not leave alot of space in the room. Shower nozzle very high up for a short person and water pressure not great but ok. Even in saying this we would definitely stay again. These are only minor concerns. Would have been good to have a fridge.

Very comfortable beds, large room for three people and nice view. Wifi was good and staff very helpful. There were a few stairs but the lovely chap at reception carried our bags. Very safe and secure. Great location across the road from tram to the centre of Florence and bus stop about 7 mins away. Private bathroom good too. Great value for money. It was a very hot time of year but they had 2 x fans.

AC is not cooling. Wifi is poor. And there’s a strange sound coming from the toilet.

There was no cups/mugs in the room. Also would be nice if there was a water kettle, even if not in the room at least in the shared area. However when I wanted hot drinking water, the host help me get it from the coffee machine.

The customer service was very comprehensive. Kristi, the concierge, was fabulous. He took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful visit to Florence. He helped us unwind after our travels with a very tasty caffe latte and a relaxing spot on their patio (with a nice view of the area around the hotel). He provided us with a map and he personally provided all the ‘must see’ spots around the city. In our extensive travels, my wife and I, have stayed in all types of accommodations ranging from 2 stars to 5 stars and we have discovered that no matter the rating of the place, it is the people providing the customer service that make all the difference to your visit. Hotel Fedora’s staff made our stay a 5 star experience. Thank you for your kindness and great work.

The location is not the best. It's not very convenient to reach the room- you need to climb a little.

The breakfast was not included in the price, but was sufficient in our opinion. The staff was very friendly and compelling. There was a good air conditioner.

The shower was small by American standards, but this is true all across Italy, so I don't think it's a real complaint.

Everything. I don't understand the negative reviews for this property at all. It's clean, great value for money, good sized rooms, very safe location, walkable from all the attractions. We stayed 4 nights here and the experience was great.

Our room, with four beds, had old furniture, and the door didn't close properly. The bathroom is small, and the shower is particularly uncomfortable. However, they clean daily and replace toiletries such as shampoo and soap. The guys from the reception desk were not very serviced, and the Wi-Fi was a low signal in that room.

Kind the location very close to the city center. The breakfast service was totally worth its price, and the lady who prepared it was very kind.

For the money we paid we were expecting much better performance from our stay. We weren't so satisfied about the staff. The personel in the reception, during check out warned us to give a good point (more than once) which is trying to interfere to my decision. If I don't like something I say it! I can't pretend that is good. And now I receive emails saying hotel fedora is waiting your review so here I am with the review.

I really liked everything about the property.

Lovely old building , the hotel was on the first floor. Big room with large bed toilet, shower working great. Also we had a lovely balcony, great for sitting out. Daily cleaning and fresh towels. The hotel owner Sammi was always around to help, such a lovely friendly person, nothing was a trouble to him .

It was cold and there was no option to use air condition to heat - no remote controller. Low standard of bathroom. Overall it would be good to renovate facility.
