We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

CanadaI don’t mind old style room (after all, it is what you expect from this hotel), but it doesn’t need to be worn out, what was pretty much the case for our room with questionable level of cleanliness, and building material quality (basic and old shower enclosure, broken and worn out tiles…) Strange enough, the hotel doesn’t provide sleeper.

Location great. Room was OK but only after they moved us to an acceptable one after the first night, when we request. The first one was was a disasater; I can’t believe that hotels are allowed to sell rooms in such a condition and at such a high price. United KingdomThe cost of drinks in the terrace bar was the same as down by the marina which is a tourist trap. Even more disappointing is the fact that there are a handful of bars and restaurants minutes away that are serving drinks half price. The gym facilities were decidedly average, cobbled together to be able to "tick that box"

United KingdomOur room was on the first floor,street frontage.Although one window was double,the balcony door offered little sound insulation owing to a very poor fit.The street had noise at all times except 4- 5 hours at night.
Splendid palatial turn of the century decor in public areas and rooms.Good quality furniture, comfortable beds and a real bathroom with BATH. Despite humid 35 degree torment outdoors,the room remained cool. The breakfast on the second floor was excellent,and we enjoyed the rooftop restaurant,both for its view,food and service. On our subsequent visit to the hotel a quiet room away from the street was requested,and was provided.

United StatesWe had two rooms for our group and one was updated and renovated while the other was not. The one that was not updated was definitely well worn and dated and the AC didn’t work too well.
Excellent location in the historical center of the city. We only had a short time in Palermo during our trip and the location was ideal for making the most of our stay! The staff was helpful and helped coordinate transportation to the airport upon our departure. The common areas of the hotel were very ornate and beautiful.

United StatesNot directly related to the hotel, but this needs to be noted: The hotel advertises an Airport Transfer service to its guests. Beware: here is what happened to me. My driver "Jack" picked us up in the hotel lobby and drove us to Palermo airport. I paid with my American credit card. No problem. Suddenly, for the first time in my life, "Jack" says now he needs to photograph my passport. Claims his boss says its the law. Sorry, that is simply not true. I refused. There is a possibility someone is running an "identity theft" business on the side of their taxi service. This Airport Taxi service should be investigated by the Italian police. Eurostar hotel should immediately fire this company, call the Italian police to investigate this Airport Taxi shuttle service and find another company to offer guests airport transfers.
