Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The location was perfect. It is just opposite to san lorenzo. Within 500 metres of most of the major attractions in Florence. The staff was nice. They let us keep the luggage after checkout. Very nice and comfortable bed. AC was perfect for the hot weather during August. Clean rooms and bathroom. Daily housekeeping and maintenance of rooms. Nice and adequate toiletries.

Matao and other staff member was great with booking a taxi for me for a early flight and checked on me standing out on the street at 4am. Made me feel safe. Fantastic central location.

The location of the Hostel was everything, close to all attractions and good restaurants, you could see the Duomo right from your window! And one of the best thing was the staff! Super accommodating, friendly and warm, they always make sure you get all the help that you need, be it with your room or with recommendations for some tours! Always greet you with a warm smile. They know the true meaning of the hostel life!

MexicoGreat Location, Friendly Staff, but Some Drawbacks We recently stayed at this hotel in the heart of Florence, the location was exceptional, within walking distance to the iconic Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome. But while it had its advantages, there were some areas for improvement. We booked a private room, which offered a fantastic view of the city. However, the room itself was just okay. The major issue was the air conditioning, which struggled to cool the room efficiently, leaving it hot and uncomfortable at times. (It was August) Another drawback was the lack of an elevator, which made it challenging to climb multiple stairs with our luggage. Despite these issues, the hotel's central location and warm staff made our stay enjoyable. If you're looking for a convenient base to explore Florence and don't mind a few compromises, this hotel might be a good choice.

United KingdomBeing so central it was obviously going to be noisy. I didnt find the noise of people at night bothered me, it was the loud clanging of metal poles as the markets set up right outside the hostel every morning (about 6am?) that I couldn’t sleep through. Not for those who struggle with noise! There are a lot of stairs, but I was only on the first floor so this was okay for me.
The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was air con (a must at this time of year in Florence!) and I really appreciated having a separate bed and not a bunk bed. I loved the mezzanine and the view from the room was fantastic (overlooked markets and the basilica). The location was fantastic, I could pop in and out and be in town straight away without a long trek in (especially great when it was so hot). The free coffee was delicious and plenty of seating area, the outside terrace was a nice touch.
