Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

My room is facing the restaurant.Can hear the restaurant noise at night. Would be noise for the hotel to give bigger rubbish bin. Water leaks everywhere everytime after shower. The hotel staffs only in hotel from 8am to 10pm. Would be nice if have 24 hours staff as can be inconvenience without staff around. Breakfast needs to have more variety like vegetables and fruits. I love the location is right in the city centre. Very convenient to go duomo and other places. Lots of nice restaurants around it. Staffs are very helpful including breakfast staff.

United StatesThe breakfast, although presented beautifully was mainly sweets. I think some warm eggs and other simple breakfast items would be better.
We were initially in the smallest room, which was very crowded and uncomfortable but after I whined to the front desk they upgraded us to a larger room that was VERY comfortable. This may have been my error in expectations when I was booking. The roof top terrace is wonderful.

Fabulous roof terrace with a view to Etna. Great spa facilites to unwind.

United KingdomBreakfast was unimpressive compared to rest of the hotel. Parking is in a locked area which is a 5 min walk away as Catania has just introduced a pedestrian zone into the city which includes this hotel.
The staff were delightful and exceptional at reception! Extraordinary and fascinating decor. LocTion was outstanding!
