We rented the 2 bedroom apartment just across from the hotel for our family. A beautiful cozy space with still enough space to keep the kids happy. Breakfast served at the hotel every morning and nice to have the fireplace going in the evenings in the historic lobby. The hotel provided discount to 2 partner restaurants which both served excellent food.

Nothing, I can't fault this place!

What a perfect place. Everything for your comfort is provided in your room. The staff are lovely, great breakfast and the location is beautiful, surrounded by snow-topped mountains. The hotel is traditional and very charming, with a lounge full of interesting books and a wood-fired stove...a lovely place to read with a drink from the bar. Parking is found easily nearby (free with the Hotel card) and there are several very good restaurants within a short walk, serving local, traditional mountain fare. We didn't manage to try the Spa upstairs, but will look forward to that next time!

First evening the sauna as well as Turkish sauna didn’t work, it was at very low temperature, around 50 degrees only

Nothing, this hotel met my expectations and beyond.

A lovely hotel in an alpine village, very warm and welcoming. Great communication with the hotel prior to my arrival. The staff were so nice and were willing to go that extra mile providing me an early breakfast and finding me places to eat. The room was nice and warm with a great alpine feel. Will definitely go back.

There was no view on the mountains from the windows, only on a wall of the neighboring house (which did not conform with Booking.com description of the apartment). This minus did not harm us at all, because we were all day outdoors, hiking on the splendid trails of Gran Paradiso National Park.

The apartment is very nice, comfortable and spacious, and quietly situated. We enjoyed very much the freedom of having an own entrance.

Our own fault, but our walk took longer than expected, so me missed our opportunity to freshen up in the hotel spa before dinner.

Grateful for early check-in, discount card for local businesses, great breakfast buffet, well-organized 5-person room with charming traditional wood panelling, sense of 120+ years of history of this classic family-run hotel.

The Junior Suite was gorgeous! So beautiful and comfortable… perfect location in the centre of town. You can drive outside the hotel to unload luggage and then head to the free hotel car park. Dog friendly, a special area is dedicated to dog owners at breakfast.

The hotel is located right in the center of the town, walking distance from bars, restaurants, and grocery stores. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is fenomenal. The hotel also has a cozy spa (with jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna), which is perfect after a day of hiking. The steam room was a bit cool for our liking, altough we didn't ask the staff to adjust it, and used the sauna instead.

Difficult vehicle access, if one didn’t know the way around the village. Having to park remotely.

Centre of village - everything walkable. Giovanni, on reception was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Spot on with his restaurant recommendation - he read our taste perfectly.
