The stairs to arrive at the lobby were an absolute nightmare, we had to carry three big suitcases to the first floor so we could take the elevator. Then in the room, we had more stairs to climb.

The location of the hotel is absolutely amazing, close to everything and very easy to find. The room was good, the beds were comfortable and a good bathroom with all the necessities. Check-in and check-out were very easy to do and without problems.

Lift was VERY slow and a lot of stairs. Bathroom small and air con not great in a hot Florence in June. Single beds very narrow.

There is no elevator on the hotel's ground floor, which is inconvenient to carry large luggage.

The door is opened by a code, so make sure you keep the instructions with you as reception finishes at 8pm. I got in a panic because I missed a digit, but there was someone at the end of the phone to help. There is a lift but it starts on the first floor, so be ready to drag your suitcase up the first flight.

This hotel is on the top floors of what was probably an old Palazzo with wide elegant stone stair cases and a fresco on the vestibule wall. Welcoming and helpful receptionists who speak good English. The ceilings are very high and room sizes are really spacious. Nice comfortable bed and lovely modern bathroom with a huge shower. It has a lovely roof-terrace with 360 degree views of Florence. It is within a 10 minute walk of the Uffizzi and the River Arno. There are also good restaurants on the same street a few steps away. A very convenient and safe place to stay.

There is a elevator, but starts at 1t floor walking up with bags . Not suitable for wheelchairs.

Barbara was very welcoming . Room spacious and Air Conditioning worked well! We used the roof top for evening drinks(bring your own no bar just seating) The view is worth the walk up! The location is excellent! They also have tea,coffee,water and snacks available in lobby, a nice touch.

Our room faced the street and got really noisy during the night. Single beds are really tiny, while the room was spacious. They could probably have a more comfortable setting. Wifi doesn’t work great

The hotel is very well located, walking distance to all main attractions and lively restaurants. staff are incredibly nice and helpful. They were really flexible about our room layout, early check-in and keeping our luggage in storage.

Every night, until midnight, there were people singing and talking loudly outside the hotel. Our room facing the street could hear it very clearly.

The staff were very nice, especially the old gentleman at the front desk. Helped us heat the pizza, and find wine opener and cutlery at night l.

The room we got came with a balcony "with a view". Unfortunately the balcony is about 2ft wide and the view is not very pleasant. You have to climb a lot of stairs before you get to the elevator that takes you up to the other floors. It is definitely not the place for those who have physical or medical issues with the climb or for people who have to carry strollers etc.

The location is very central. The room and bathroom were well equipped and spacious. There is a nice hospitality area near the reception where you can pick up extra tea or coffee and cookies. It is a very old and very charming building.

1. No parking around. You have to leave your car in the garage (€30-50 per night), which is 5-10 mins walking from the hotel, and you have to grab your bags there. Good thing, that the property worn you about everything, but nevertheless if it is your first time in busy Florence and you have heavy bags, you won’t be happy about it :) 2. Too loud every night :( it is a center, so people are cruising around and sit at the bars/restaurants.

Nice staff, beautiful rooms, center of the city! It doesn’t look like hotel, more like an apartments, which is cozy and nice!

Location is just perfect, just a short walk to anywhere in Florence. Plenty of restaurants, shops and attractions around. Still, it's super quiet and isolated from the street. And the staff is just amazing, ready to help at any moment (and they pick the best restaurants).

The rooms are on the second floor but there is only a lift from the first floor upwards. It is understandable as it is a very old building, just be prepared for hauling luggage up a lot of stairs.

Fantastic location in the historical centre of town just a few steps from the Duomo. The room was large and comfortable with a chic and modern bathroom. The cleaning was immaculate and the staff were very friendly.

The elevator was a bit slow, AC was a quite loud sometimes.

Great location, very close to everything and right beside the Dante museum. Simple but convenient facilities, lovely and extraordinarily helpful staff. Room was a good size, comfortable, and very nice and the whole hotel was very good looking in general.
