The economy room on the ground floor had a bad smell. Especially when entering the room for the first time, you immediately recognized it coming from the bathroom.

The breakfast was delightful. The hotel owners were extremely nice and helpful.

Unassuming building located down a quiet street, though central to the town. Inside was beautifully decorated, neat and homely.

The bedroom looked out onto a glass roofed courtyard which made the room rather dark, but as it Winter time this wasn’t much of a problem.

location was brilliant, only a 5 min walk into the old centre of Ferrara, and a 10 min bus ride to the train station. It was a perfect place to stay for the New Year’s Eve festivities when Ferrara was very busy. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfort. The breakfast was a lovely selection of fruit, yoghurt, cold meats, pastries and cakes,served in a quiet, charming dining room.

The only concern for us was that mosquitoes swarmed the room when we opened the windows. Lots of bites - but it was our fault.

Loved this small unassuming hotel. It was on a quiet street but near the center and all attractions we wanted to visit. Staff were wonderful and provided excellent restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was very good - with ever-changing options (including an amazing pumpkin tart one day). We stayed in the Junior suite, which was larger than we expected. Access to exterior terrace was a definite plus.

I would have liked a more comfortable chair to relax in but this is a very minor criticism.

Just about every aspect. By far the best value-for-money hotel I have experienced in Italy. Full of character with the most helpful of management teams. Just 200 metres from the Castello Estense, Ferrara's tourist centrepiece but in a quiet street, off the main road.

The interior is a bit old fashioned and rooms are really small and the one we stayed at was rather dark. Too few vegetarian options for breakfast and nothing for vegans really.

The hotel is centrally located, a walking distance from main attractions of Ferrara, it's also easy to find a restaurant or bar around it. They have a special deal with the city so if you are staying at the hotel you will have a much better price for the parking. The staff was very polite and friendly too.

It is located near the castello at ferrara at a central location in a back neighborhood which was really quiet. Room was big and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was good. Breakfast was excellent, Staff were really friendly and helpful. One of the best hotels ive stayed in Italy

the room was very small, with fridge blocking the way to window, night table and phone charging cable (I had to crawl over bed for access to these) and bed blocking use of a too small and short mirror I kept most of my clothes and stuff in my suitcase as there was very little space for hanging them anywhere outside bathroom

Our room was in located the attic of a 19th century palace, around the corner from the hotel building. All close to the centre. A great base for anyone wanting to spend a few days in historic Ferrara. The room was spacious, equipped with air conditioning, a kitchen and a clean, comfortable bathroom. Parking is available for a fee near the hotel. Helpful staff. Great breakfast. Overall, highly recommended!

Although it is not close to the station, it is only a short walk to the beautiful sights of Ferrara, so there's nothing negative to say.

The staff and the rooms are just as impressive as the ambiance of the hotel. I highly recommend to stay there..
