Nothing really. It is a very tight squeeze to get a car (especially a larger one) through the castle gate.

Was this place real? We happened upon this place while searching booking.com at the last minute when our hiking plans changed. Cristina was very communicative prior to our arrival. This place really is a sizable castle with an amazing view of the surroundings and with beautiful grounds. The restaurant is phenomenal and vegetarian! The breakfast is ample. The room itself is plain, but sufficient and amazingly quiet. I really wish we could have stayed longer at this place. It's a gem.

I was a little disappointed by the breakfast. The salty spread and bread selection was great but for someone like me who eats a light and sweet breakfast there wasn’t much option. They had yoghurt in a machine that was frozen and some apples and bananas. It would be nice to have a normal yoghurt and maybe some fruit salad….

The beds were a little firm. The wifi availability was limited to the "throne room", which was a large, relaxing area with several comfortable couches. We didn't find this any inconvenience, and along with no television added to the peaceful nature of the entire stay.

This was our favorite stay of our 10 day trip! The staff was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We arrived a little later in the day, and the host was very concerned about our dinner needs. She had tried to contact us about the need to make reservations for the onsite restaurant, but we were unavailable to receive her message. Town was just a 5 minute drive and there were plenty of options. The grounds and view of this castle hotel were breathtaking, and with the limited amount of guest rooms, the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. All areas were very clean. The breakfast was awesome, with so many options for all food and beverage preferences. The breakfast staff was in constant attendance and happy to offer to supply you with your favorite coffee drink.

This castle is exceptional - beautiful historic building in stunning countryside . The evening meal which we booked in advance was delicious . Christina our hostess was delightful and very helpful - will definitely return .

Staying in a castle was a fantastic experience and Cristina was exceptionally helpful.and full of enthusiasm.She has a supply of maps for walking in the area We chose a “modern”room because it was on the ground floor and we had a lot of luggage.As you would expect from a castle,there are steps everywhere.The room was very spacious with a beautiful view of the mountains.Large comfortable bed .The toilet and shower were built inside the room separated by opaque glass. The castle is open to the public (we didn’t see many visitors) and is a venue for art exhibits and concerts . There is a private garden for hotel guests which is very relaxing. The food at breakfast was superb and we decided to book a table for supper,which was delicious.All the staff were very pleasant.

The hotel is in a historical castle - how many hotels can claim that? Located on a hill overlooking the Valsugana valley, the hotel/Castle is surrounded by beautiful sceneries. It was refreshing waking up every morning to see the clouds rising from the mountains in the distance. The breakfast is nice and delicious. Above all, the host Cristina is very warm and friendly and she provided a lot of useful information about the area, e.g. open air art exhibition, lakes and other tourist interests. I will definitely try to visit again!

All was perfect.

Everything exceeded our expectations; all was just perfect. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay special. The location itself is amazing, ideal for a relaxing break.

Sadly, this place needs a serious cash infusion to bring it up to its full potential. A few improvements in terms of commodities would make it a top historic hotel, but one would have to take great care not to spoil its natural and spontaneous charm.

The staff were beyond friendly and accommodating, but not in an obsequious sort of way. They really did summersaults to make up for any lack.

Not a big fan of plastic packaged breakfast items such as jam, Nutella etc., which shouldn’t be necessary these days anymore. Other than that breakfast was fine.

Great location, gorgeous historic and quiet ambience, very professional and super friendly host (Cristina), excellent osteria on the premises with very delicious food and good wine. Stayed for one night only and will be back soon. Dogs welcome, which is another big plus!
