If I had to give feedback on one thing I’d change - it’d be the mattresses. But this is because I am spoilt at home with a memory foam. So when I have to sleep on springs I feel it. The bed was by no means uncomfy - just that memory foam would be better. I’d also put the large size bed into the main large room. But our 16-year-old loved having the big bed, so he was happy!!!

We stayed in Casa del Plebiscito for a week in August (UK school holidays!) - the first thing I’d say is that for a large, 3-bedroom, well located apartment in the school holidays, this place was exceptionally well priced!!! Secondly, guys, the pictures don’t do it justice! This place has high ceilings and is huge! The main bedroom is almost as big as my whole flat in UK! It is a stunning space, it is light and cool (excellent AC) and has 3 decent bedrooms and two decent bathrooms and full size kitchen. Thirdly, Gabriel the owner is the most helpful and accommodating host. He chatted to us weeks before our arrival re any queries we had and bent over backwards to help us and gave us loads of local knowledge too. Finally the location is great. It’s perfectly placed for everything, easy to walk to port and old town - near two metro stations and a bus stop and even near the water for a swim! With loads of local restaurants and bars - and a shopping street just behind. Plus load of little extras like toilet roll, cleaning products, bottled water and condiments I didn’t expect, which just save those extra pennies at the supermarket- you know so you don’t have to buy a whole pot of salt for a week:) I’ve booked over 50 places, around the world via booking.com over the years and this was the best so far. BTW it’s not a super polished/modern luxury apartment - but it’s real Naples, perfectly rustic and makes you feel like a real local while experiencing this amazing city, while having everything you need and being spotlessly clean.

The stairs were tricky with the pushchair, the lift didn't work for the first floor.

Amazing flat with amazing hosts! The hosts were always willing to help us and stayed up late to provide us with a late check out. The flat is very comfortable and spacious (we were a family of 6 people). Location is ideal and close to famous pizzerias. For completeness, I would only note that there are 34 steps outside the main building and 24 steps inside the main building to go to the flat as there was no lift for Floor 1 so be prepared if you are traveling with large luggages. Would definitely book this flat again when in Naples!

The apartment was interior to the building and though there were very high windows to a courtyard which brought in some natural light, they were mostly opaqued at people level to provide privacy, so it wasn't easy to actually see outdoors, and not at all out to the street, which I missed. Since the floors were mostly tile, they were cold to walk on in bare feet; I wished I had packed slippers or that some disposable ones had been provided.

The hosts were very accommodating when a train strike delayed our arrival by more than an hour. They were also very responsive when we contacted them. They provided an excellent overview of our location in relation to transportation and things to visit and recommendations for restaurants. Usually this place is rented for larger groups, but the two of us enjoyed having extra space to spread out, a kitchen, which we used for only for breakfasts, and a washing machine and drying rack. I had booked the place without paying a lot of attention to location, and was so lucky to find it was in a very good location on a quiet street in a bustling area. It felt very safe, everything we needed was accessible nearby, and two Metro stations and the funicular were a 10 minute walk away. Also, there was a taxi station just down the block, making it easy to get a taxi.

The towels were scratchy, but minor compared to all the positives!

Location was excellent. We were about a block from the water. There are cafes everywhere. A wonderful walk along the water. Loved Naples and would stay here again for longer. We were a family of seven and had plenty of space. Having a washing machine was a bonus. Comfortable. Appreciated recommendations for restaurants. Host very responsive to questions on What’s App.

Overall I think the property is much nicer than it looks in the photos.

Wonderful hosts who were very helpful and accommodating. Excellent location with many points of interest within walking distance. Hosts provided great tips of places to eat. Spacious and cool apartment with comfy sofas. Lots of room for the children. It was really thoughtfully equipped with things like salt and oil so we didn't have to buy a whole bottle to cook one meal. Easy to wash and dry clothes which meant we could travel light. One of the things we worried about when booking was the mezzanine room. We worried that it wouldn't be safe enough for the children or private enough for us. We did decide it was better not to let the children sleep there (depends how old or sensible your children are - most teenagers would be fine) but privacy wise it was fine as there are big blinds, has it's own bathroom and is accessed by a staircase that only leads to that room.

It's a lovely apartment with lots of space and air conditioning and 2 bathrooms. We had a great time using the apartment as a base to which we returned every evening - grateful for its peace and quiet. Gabriele and his wife were there to meet us and were very welcoming and helpful.

The apartment was large, bright and spacious, in a great location, close to central locations and close to the sea and the promenade. Gabrielle was an excellent host, available for any question and request.

Perfect location, walking distance from everywhere, a quiet street. Big apartment good for a large group of friends. The host provided a lot of great information about the neighborhood. Uber to the airport was 25 EUR and it took 15 mins in the morning.
