There is really nothing to say here. We experienced a major storm on our last day with heavy wind driven rain which caused a few problems from mother nature but the accommodation itself was outstanding.

We loved everything about this accommodation. It was a real home away from home. Elsia and Lorenzo went above and beyond to make our stay the best and would have changed the weather for us if they could. Lozenzo was kind enough to pick us up from the train station and transport us back to the bus station. The apartment was huge with a washer & dryer, sea view, courtyard covered porch, and even robes for two. Attention to detail from the Owners make this place a top choice in Siracusa.

We so enjoyed our week here. The apartment was perfect: very spacious, clean, well maintained, excellent location and a great sea view. Elisa had thought of every little touch to make the apartment a home from home and she could not have been more helpful with recommendations. Fantastic.

Parking is not available on streets, however there are two parking in close proximity; 15 and 20 euro per night.,

Great hostess Elisa, great location close to everything to explore Syracuse. Apartment has everything to enjoy staying in the area, including water and wine (10 euro per bottle). Unbelievable sea view.

The location on Ortigia along with the morning view of beautiful sunrises, and the layout of the flat, with separate sleeping, eating and sitting, plus good airflow with open balconies made it so pleasant for the 9 nights we stayed. The owners/hosts were very helpful and responsive, too. We would definitely come back if our travel plans bring us this way in the future.

Not only does this apartment have a stunning view of the sea, it is close to the food market, historic laneway shops, restaurants and bars. You can be fully self-catering or just enjoy some air conditioned respite from the heat at siesta time. I would highly recommend this property. Elisa was a very knowledgeable and helpful host who made lists of local recommendations on our arrival. 10/10 ⭐️

Nothing we disliked. Not a problem for us but there are stairs up to the flat. Parking was in a car park up the road paid daily which added to the cost but we knew that and it was unavoidable as the property is in the old town. The benefit of being able to walk straight into town out weighed this.

Location and views, authenticity of furnishing (being an Italian old town property) facilities including washing machine and extras - eg olive oil herbs balsamic vinegar foil etc which were so useful when you are self catering… and snorkels and umbrellas you could use for the beach. Everything had been thought about to make it as easy as possible to live there for the week ‘as though it was your home.’ .. and everything worked.

Thé location was amazing and the apartment is big and great with the balconies and terrasse. There is everything you need from bathroom products to liquid soap to do your la duty if needed. They also left a lot of coffee pods.

these are tiny things -no bluetooth speaker so could not play music unfortunately and turntable was broken. the entry to the property from the street was less than beautiful but the property more than makes up for that.

beautiful furnishing in old but grand style and fabulous view of the sea from two windows. Good choice of local wines available to purchase. comfortable bed. really a very positive experience. definitely going back if we are ever in syracusa. host was very nice and helpful regarding vegetarian restaurants.

We love everything! Perfect location, huge apartment and they have everything you need. Fantastic view! We woke up early to watch the sunrise, it was so beautiful. Elisa the host is very sweet and helpful, she help us organise transport from the airport to the apartment. We will recommend that, cheaper than taking a taxi. She also gave us tips for places to see and restaurants. Ortigia is so beautiful, we had a wonderful time!

An extra set of keys, would be great if there was a solution to provide more than one set of keys.

One of the best apartments we have ever stayed in. Views of the water from living room and kitchen, a large terrace interior, all large rooms and hallway, well stocked kitchen. Apt is clean, plenty of towels, washer dryer and good AC. The owners left us 3 large water bottles in fridge which was thoughtful in the heatwave. Walkable to everywhere in Ortigia including access to swimming spots.

General furnishings are slightly dated in style but comfortable and perfectly adequate. Building common areas are a little shabby, but the general locality is undergoing significant gentrification.

The aspect and proximity to the sea makes this apartment special, and family who care as to its presentation and the quality of the guest experience.

30 stairs to climb to the apartment and no lift in the building

It was a large, comfortable “old world “ apartment in the historic center of Ortigia. Facilities were excellent, as were the views. The kitchen was well stocked with herbs, condiments,coffee, tea, cling wrap, foil as well as all the usual kitchen equipment. The manager, Lorenzo, opened the apartment on our arrival which was earlier than the advertised checkin and was immediately available to deal with any queries we had.

The apartment was in a great location with sea views, very spacious and comfortable and very clean. It’s walking distance from pretty much everything too and Elisa was the perfect host! Everything was just perfect and we had a lovely time. We would definitely recommend. There’s restaurants and bars close by or further if you so desire and Elisa gave some great recommendations of which we pretty much tried all. Every meal and drink was delicious! Thank you Elisa, we had a super stay! ❤️

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Siracusa, not at least because of our wonderful hosts. Elisa was always accessible and ready to help. The apartment was perfectly equipped with everything a guest might need on vacation. Everything was laid out with a lot of consideration-you could sense that our hosts care very much for the comfort of their guests. The spacious apartment is beautiful and grants great views to the sea. Outstanding place that we can recommend wholeheartedly.

Our stay was much too short! We were very sad to leave the Camilla Suite :)

If I could give the Camilla Suite and its owners a 1000 points, I would! It was the best apartment I have ever stayed in whole Italy or even Europe. Waking every day to those amazing Ionian Sea and Ortigia views was priceless! We enjoyed every moment there and truly didn't want to go back home. It is a beautifully designed apartment in a fantastic location in the heart of old city Ortigia with wonderful helpful hosts who gave us great recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing.

I stayed at Camilla House for 5 nights and fell in love instantly. The apartment is decorated with a lot of love and is absolutely well-maintained and up-to-date. The bathroom and shower are practical, the kitchen is top modern, and the bed is super comfortable. Everything is spacious and airy, and what's most important to me personally, it's well-maintained and clean. I felt very comfortable and will definitely go back. Elisa and Lorenzo were super nice and also provided many tips. I can only highly recommend everything about Camilla House!
